I know it’s a bad habit but without even realizing it I’ll pick at blemishes. BAD. These are fantastic. They not only speed up the healing process but they also prevent picking.
These are easy to apply and by morning you can see the results. I’ve worn these during the day as well because they’re not really noticeable. They work great in the crease of my nose too.
Oh also… If you try to apply foundation or concealer without fully washing your face like I did lol you’ll end up with round circles that won’t take. So make sure you cleanse after!

I have used hydrocolloid dots for years, I’ve probably tried every brand out on the market! Main features I look for: adhesion, convenient sizes, absorption, and value. This pack is great because you get a variety of 4 different sizes.
These patches are very transparent, but I wouldn’t wear them in public and they definitely can’t be used under makeup. They adhere pretty well unless you try to use a too-small dot on a very oozing zit. The backing plastic with this brand is not ‘split’ so you need to be careful peeling off the patch or it will stretch and deform.
Note for makeup wearers: blemish patches make the skin take foundation and powder ‘differently’ and it is noticeable. Plan to remove the patches, clean your face, and allow time for your skin to rebound a little before proceeding with your makeup routine.

I personally test every single acne patch I get, as I have been using stuff like this for over a decade and more. I remember back then there was only the 3M brand and you could only get them in certain Asian countries. I love that in recent years these have exploded in popularity and I think acne patches are one of the best “inventions”. I prefer using acne patches over medication like salicylic acid and things like that. It doesn’t irritate my skin like acne medicine and deflates them faster than any topical acne medicine has ever done for me.
I got the yellow pack, which is the “original” and comes with 84 dots. I usually put these on before bed so the hydrocolloid can work its magic when I’m sleeping. It works just as well during the day when you’re up and about but it is more convenient during the night because you don’t have to go anywhere or see anyone with these patches on your face. These ones are not as noticeable as some of the other acne patches and I also use these during the day when I know I’ll be home all day.
When I woke up and peeled these off I could see the patches turned cloudy, in addition to some gunk sucked onto the patches. The hormonal breakouts I had on my face the previous day had either flatted or disappeared. All of the patches were accounted for and none of them disappeared from my face, which means they stick quite well to the skin. It didn’t hurt when I peeled it off. I placed these on several spots throughout my face, even ones that were just tiny little red bumps, and when I peeled them off in the morning practically every one of the dots had a teeny bit of gunk on it. I am very pleasantly surprised at how well these worked for my skin.
Overall I highly recommend these, give it a try! I am always in search of hydrocolloid patches that work well and these are definitely going on my top 10 list. The patches are made in Korea.

I love hydracolloidal patches for helping clear up blemishes. So I was actually glad to have a zit pop up on my chin one day so I could test these. So after washing my face I put a dot over the blemish and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning I expected to see the dot be white and bloated from pulling all the gunk out of pores but it wasn’t. So I put one of my other trusted brands on it and a few hours later all the gunk was gone and the inflammation went down. So these don’t really work but they are ver clear and thin, so I may keep them to try using to cover up blemishes afterwards, when it needs to be clean and covered (and not picked at) to heal and avoid scarring.

I did a few tests on my husband and I, here are the results for both, they are different,
ME: Popped pimple: Kept redness away and swelling down, healing was fast in 4 days it was none existent.
un popped body pimple: Didn’t absorb much but the redness and swelling was greatly reduced and it brought all the nasty stuff to the surface. Popped when I took the patch off.
Un popped face: same as the body pimple.
Husband: Un popped body: worked beautifully, completely gone. lucky duck.
Popped body: Nothing but white stuff and healing.
UNFORTUNATELY, my hubbies skin did not like the patch. He had a red circle on his arm a good 24 hrs after we removed it. but he also left it on for 2 days. (it’s shower proof but not face oil proof. weird magic tabs
