Big pills- difficult to swallow.

My husband is on a baseball team and he has been taking these to help with recovery. These have worked very well, they are easy to swallow and there is no weird taste.

i love this product and was able to tell a difference after using it for a couple of weeks, the product is pricey for only a 30 day supply but if you can afford it, it will be worth the purchase in my opinion, i love the fact it doesn’t leave a fishy smell after you use the toilet

While this product is made in India (along with much of the prescription medicine sold in the U.S.), two of its main ingredients — Ovomet and Collavant n2 — are manufactured in Spain. The label does not state the source of the other ingredients, other than that they are “globally sourced.” There is no UPC or Consumer Labs certification. Consumer labs has an article saying there is a bit of research indicating that type II collagen may be beneficial in providing modest relief to joint pain or stiffness, and the Coolavant website also cites research into Collagen supplements. As my headline notes, I find this supplement interesting and am willing to give it a month, but I wish the company would spring for reputable third party certification from UPC or Consumer Labs. (I realize that both of those can be pricey.)

My partner has been taking various supplements to help with her joint issues since I met her (about 30 years ago), and, her prefered brand suddenly becoming unavailable, I decided to give these a shot.
The blend they are using is… confusing; many of the components are recognized for various benefits, but the amounts are kind of odd, and not consistent with any recommendations I’ve seen. (Since most of the ingredients have no recommended daily value (and the whole thing, being a supplement, isn’t FDA certified), it’s hard to find solid data, but even what I could find wasn’t consistent with these amounts.)
Absent any Consumer lab certification, and with the components sourced from multiple (not fully disclosed) sources, it’s really hard for me to have confidence in these. (GMP is better than nothing, but not exactly that strict.) My partner reported no adverse effects, but she also experienced no significant improvement from taking it.
Overall, it looks like this COULD work for you, if you are in the right specific group of patients with the right needs, but it doesn’t really have a very broad application to the general population. That, and the lack of transparency/certification, plus my partners lack of relief makes it something I’m not likely to try again, unless there is a significant reformulation, and a change in price. (More than a dollar a pill is a bit more than I like to pay for something that doesn’t seem to help.)
All that said, if you can find it on a good sale, it may be worth trying; others seem to have had good results.

I was having some knee trouble so figured I would try something like this to avoid constant pain meds. Easy to take, no weird taste or texture. I have had no adverse reactions or issues. No difference yet but will take consistently and see.
