I like that this product is vitamin c and hydraulic acid in it because it’s beneficial for women over 50. I don’t like the color. It turned my skin orange. Also, it is a weird smell. I’m still using it at night for the vitamin c benefits. Price is good but better vitamin c products for skin out there.

I work at a natural grocery store where we sell Sea-el products in our body care section. Before trying the Sea-el day cream, I tried so many other kinds from competing brands that sit next to the Sea-el products on the shelf. The competitors products either left a slimy residue on my face, or, get this… they would make my face feel dry! The directions say to “place a few drops on your palms, rub them together, then apply liberally to face.” Which is what I’ve been doing. While doing that I “pat it” into my skin. It does feel a bit tacky, but has a nice, citrus fragrance. After, I rub the rest of the product over my hands, as you would lotion. I’m not sure I can tell a big difference with the skin on my face, however my hands feel smoother, look less red & I’m not reaching for hand cream as much as I was. So the ingredients are working!

The serum is the absolute best. I have really really sensitive skin. A lot of products on the market make my skin burn and cause redness on my face but this stuff has never once broken me out and leave my skin so supple and soft after I use it. Their matcha facial oil is amazing too. I use it after the serum and my face is super soft. I hope they never take these off the shelves. I love it so much.

The dark color product inside the dropper is a bad sign. Vitamin C turns dark when it is expired. Couldn’t shake the product up enough to get it all to mix up. Product stayed dark inside the dropper. Made all of the other Sea-El products seem suspect.

This hydrating serum helps to retain your skin’s natural moisture and is loaded with antioxidants including the Green Tea extract. According to Sea-el, this is made for all skin types, even sensitive skin. I have no problems with it. It feels a little sticky at first application but that goes away quickly. No stains or marks left after application. The bottle is solid so there’s no fear of it breaking if dropped. The liquid flows smoothly out of the dropper and is easy to apply. Skin does seem to have a slight glow after applying.

I’ve been trying a lot of skin care products lately as I have developed some dark spots and uneven texture. My dermatologist recommended vitamin c to lighten sun spots and I personally love hyaluronic acid for its moisturizing properties, so this serum seemed like a good fit.
First off, it has a lovely, light citrus fragrance that isn’t overpowering. The serum is thick and rubs in easily, but I notice there is a lasting stickiness that I don’t really enjoy. My skin definitely feels hydrated and looks bright after using, but I wish the sticky feeling wasn’t there.
Overall, this is a good serum, however it might work better for dry skin. I have normal/combination skin, so this is a bit on the heavy side for me.
