I have purchased a great amount of products from this company. I was very pleased with much about it. However, the last two times- I have had multiple pills empty and broken when I opened it. This was very disappointing .

I have been wanting to add an alpha lipoic acid supplement to my everyday routine to see if it makes a difference in helping to lose those last few pounds. From what I know and have researched about ALA, it helps to suppress appetite and it helps to lower blood sugar levels. The latter has been studied significantly with humans, specifically with type 2 diabetes.
ALA is also considered a strong antioxidant that fights inflammation as well as helps to raise the levels of other antioxidants, like glutathione, which is known for anti aging properties.
Since the Ancient Bliss brand capsules are only 1 a day, the bottle contains 60 days worth- a two month supply- more than enough time to measure how well the supplement works. They are very easy to swallow with no bitter aftertaste.
So far I have taken it in the early evening, late afternoon when I tend to be more hungry and I have noticed a reduction in appetite so I believe it is working. Ancient Bliss is manufactured in the USA. The ALA capsules contain no artificial flavors or fillers, are gluten free, NON GMO & 100% vegan.

I have not noticed any improvement in my loss of taste, which is what I was taking these for. So I don’t know if there was ay other benefit internally. That said, these capsules are easy to swallow. No adverse reactions or negative side effects

I have been taking Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) for years based on my doctor’s advice. I have tried different brands throughout that time, but I have never tried the Ancient Bliss brand until now. So far, I’m really impressed by this good, clean supplement. It’s easy to swallow, causes no stomach issues, has no odor or flavor, and appears to be a good quality product.
My main reason for taking this supplement is for the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and overall general health benefits. To get the 600mg of ALA from this product, I just have to take one capsule per day, so this bottle ends up being a two month supply for me. Compared to what I usually take, that seems to be a fairly usual dosage, which is very convenient for me.
I appreciate that there are so few additives to this supplement, except for the BioPerine which I believe helps with absorption. So far, I’m really enjoying this product, and I look forward to hopefully experiencing the many health benefits it may provide.

This is my first time trying alpha lipoic acid (ALA). I’d read about the benefits of ALA and wanted to give it a try. ALA is an antioxidant that is said to have many benefits including the ability to aid eye health and memory loss, fight diabetes, and act as an anti-inflammatory. I’ve been taking these supplements for a few weeks. While I can’t comment on their efficacy yet, I don’t think they’re hurting me either. I’ve had no side effects and the capsules are easy to swallow. I like that these Ancient Bliss Alpha Lipoic Acid Supplements are vegan, non-gmo, and contain no fillers. They arrived sealed and have a long shelf life. I ordered in May 2023 and they don’t expire until end of Feb. 2026. They seem comparable in price to similar products on the market. I’m glad I found these!
