Ordered this product to get more energy and nurture my mitochondria. They recommend 17 drops for a daily dose of 593 mg. Only 10 drops in the morning made me incredibly tired and almost unable to do anything all day. Started reducing drops and taking them at night. I’m now down to 5 drops taken an hour before bedtime, sleep well but still feel “hung over” and unmotivated until about 10-11 AM the next morning,
Product is supposed to be well shaken, but the blue glass and label makes it impossible to see how much is in the bottle and whether or not it is “well shaken.”

I ordered this because I have Lyme and for some reason, we’re known to burn through carnitine quickly. I don’t notice that I feel any difference when I take it – regardless of the brand. But I know from blood tests that I need it.
The bottle is bigger than I expected it to be. With 200 servings, it will last almost seven months, which makes it a great value.
It tastes a lot like apple cider vinegar to me. Since we only need 17 drops per day, it’s bearable. You’re supposed to put it directly in the mouth and hold it for 15 seconds.
I like that it’s third party tested, made in the USA, and they follow good manufacturing practices. It seems like a high quality product!

I ordered this supplement due to its claim for helping with circulation and breathing abilities. After trying it for a few days, I haven’t noticed any significant difference, but I am hopeful. The product itself seems like it is made with good quality ingredients, and the manufacturer claims to have a third-party that test the product. Just like any other supplement there’s really no way for me to know how true this is. However, I think it will work just fine. You take 17 drops to get 593 mg of l-carnitine and I prefer to use this over the tablet form as it’s just way easier for me.

Got this on a whim thinking maybe it’d be a semi-replacement for caffeine to some extent (I’m not addicted to caffeine, I can stop anytime!). I put off trying it for a while after reading some iffy conclusions on efficacy, but finally decided to start trying it out. Starting today will be doing daily doses around mid-day or around 8pm depending on whether I notice any effects or not – most tired at 8pm but that’s way too early so a spike of energy then would be appreciated.
Putting “17 drops” – which is basically just half a dropper – under the tongue was an easy and not altogether unpleasant task. It does say “on the tongue” on the directions, but I can’t imagine why. I think they’re aiming for oral absorption so under the tongue would be the best route. Anyway, if you’re doing under, bad taste is highly diminished, so didn’t have any complaints there.
Will post updates if any effects are noticable after a couple weeks!

Has anyone else experienced the awful change of taste? It’s smells and tastes like jet fuel. Can’t imagine this is healthy for any of us. Or did I get a rancid bottle??
Bummer, as i don’t like taking capsules. How can this be the only dropper on the market???
