I have terrible dry eye and often get styes, so several years back I started wearing various sleep masks. I soon realized I needed something disposable and started getting these heated ones from Amazon. They were expensive when they first came out, and the heat function was hit or miss. My favorite ones would heat nicely, and stay warm for some time, but few could measure up.
I saw this pack of 50 and doubted they would even heat up, since they were so affordably priced, but they are some of the warmest I’ve found and are wonderful! I love that they heat up nicely, and stay warm a long time. I think these are perfect for anyone suffering from eye gland disfunction.
Another reviewer complained about ‘no steam’. The heat from the mask caused the skin and oils around the eye to warm, resulting in a steam heat inside the mask. Not sure how long this person wore the mask, but my eyes get pretty steamy underneath.
I’m sure these will eventually sell out, and I will need to find another source, but I’m stocking up and enjoying my nights in the meantime.

These do get warm. They are basically those disposable hand warmers with a different shape and some ear holes. There is no wetness or steam like I was hoping for. I guess your eye area does sweat a bit from the heat so possibly that is what they are referring to.
The ear flaps are not that great and a little tricky to pull out without tearing. Overall these are pretty relaxing but a bit underwhelming.

This is IT! I’ve used all the microwaveable eye masks for recurring eye styes and dry eyes and they only last 15min tops, easily burn. This is : cheap, easily portable, and stay warm for over an hour! Incredibly convenient, and 50 for that price is great considering how well they warm. I’ve used 1 in bed (also not heavy so easily to keep on) and my stye that began last night looks already pretty much gone. I caught it on time and applied warmth and being able to keep it this long helps tremendously. Cannot recommend this enough.

My only complaint is paying $16 for a pack of 5. I won’t trust this company again.
I love these for sleeping in and I didn’t think I’d like something hot on my face like this.
Have you ever used Hot hands? It’s the same thing, but for your eyes- little beads in a pouch that heats up when you shake them. No steam, but they’re soothing if you have eye fatigue at the end of the day or for when you get sick.

I got these for myself to help alleviate some of the discomfort I suffer with chronic dry eyes. I was so pleased with the effects and the 50 count quantity of this pack and gave it to my sister to use at her spa. So far her clients are thrilled with the increased benefit to relaxation and increased satisfaction with their sessions.
These remind me of hot packs that were initially developed for sports injuries. Quickly activate and you have disposable single units. No mess,, no fuss and no microwaving required. The material is a soft fabric that feels like cotton. Add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil on the outside and enhance the experience. It also maintains a warm but comfortable temperature for at least a half hour. This very simple eye mask not only decreases eye discomfort and strain, but it’s also an opportunity to decompress and relax from a busy day. I also encouraged to use as part of a bedtime ritual.
This is a really nice, affordable way to not only pamper yourself but get some relief from symptoms. I definitely recommend these and think they would even make a great gift for a friend in need.

Intrigued by the concept of this particular eye mask, I decided to give it a try. 50 in a pack is a good value, which was another selling point for me. The package has clear enough instructions, and I was able to put the eye mask on without any trouble. It took hardly any time at all for it to warm up. Once I felt the heating sensation, I quickly realized that it was getting way too warm to be pressed on my eyes. The mask itself wraps around your ears, stretching the eye pads tightly on to your closed eye lids. This pressure, accompanied by the heat, was too much for me, and I was only able to wear it for barely a minute.

These offer a modest heat, but no steam. I read the instructions and there was nothing on how to get more of a moist heat.
Otherwise they were as described — self heating, no lint, and began the heat reaction when unpackaged (”turned on”)
I found the temperature to be comfortable for my skin and preferences.
I would ha docked a Sterk for the “steam” claim, but competing products all seem to use this keyword, and the pricing is competitive.
