This is a great post workout drink that I have with my protein shake. It is unflavored and absorbs well into it with no taste. It has five grams of L Glutamine in it which is the bodies most quickly depleted amino acid and is needed for building muscle. So far I have had no issues with digesting this. I am pleased with it and will get more when I run out. I like that it is 3rd party tested and I do believe it will help me with building stronger and leaner muscle.

Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body, and as such is important in protein synthesis and fuels the immune system. For many years L-Glutamine has been used by those who weight train and while current research is not as conclusive about its benefits I still believe in it. Supplementation is also known to be good for those who with weakened immune systems.
As far as this particular product goes, it’s made in the USA by an established brand, 3rd party tested, and GMP certified. I think all of these things are important when buying what is essentially a “generic white powder” so that you have some assurance you’re getting what you are paying for. Otherwise, it’s kind of hard to rate since it’s essentially tasteless when you mix it in with a sports or protein drink.

I’ve taken L-Glutamine in the past, in the form of 500 mg tablets. Amusingly, I would have to take 10 tablets to ingest the same 5 grams that’s contained in one small scoop of this product. Additionally, that bottle of tablets would then have only 10 servings.
This product is obviously a much more efficient way to take L-Glutamine. It mixes practically effortlessly, but I wouldn’t call it flavorless. Technically, “unflavored” and “flavorless” are not the same thing. I definitely believe they didn’t flavor this stuff. Mix this in something other than water and I doubt you’ll notice it. I’m currently drinking about 8 ounces of plain water with this powder mixed in, and it’s pretty unpleasant.
If you judge L-Glutamine to be a needed addition to your supplementation routine, this product is currently at a bargain price and from an eminently trusted brand.

I got the 5% Nutrition Core Supplement for my son to use after workouts. He has been taking it for a few weeks now and can tell a difference. He really likes it. After reading up on some of the health benefits, I decided to try it too for the digestive support. It seems to be helping and I think I have increased energy too. This mixes well with a beverage and is easy to take. I think this is a good quality supplement. I love that it is made in the USA and 3rd party tested too.

My focus on using this product is to improve intestinal function. Your intestinal lining uses L-Glutamine as fuel. Supplementing with it can help heal the gut lining for those suffering from leaky gut, malabsorption, or inflammatory bowel disease.
I could not find much more information on L-Alanine, so I will have to trust that it does enhance absorption of L-Glutamine. I did find more information and some studies on “L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine” (alanylglutamine). One study stated “Current evidence suggests alanylglutamine may be a more effective supplement than glutamine because of its increased stability and water solubility, but more research is needed to determine if it actually has an effect on performance.”
I love that it is 3rd Party Tested, GMP Certified, and made in the USA.

This stuff mixes easy and is flavorless. I’m pretty new to the glutamine supplement game, but from others I’ve talked to, this is a good product.
I have no complaints this far. It’s hard to say how much of an impact this is on my recovery, but I’m hopeful it’s science-based and accurate.
So I’ve been using it for several weeks and I want to say I feel results. Some athlete friends have suggested using other products with the glutamine already in it, but I’m sticking with this until it’s out.
I don’t know much about the science behind supplements. I will say that since I have started taking this, I seem to recover a lot faster. For example, 7 out of the last 8 days I’ve trained in BJJ; a first for me. I definitely have never been able to handle 5 days in a row, let alone 6. So I guess I’d say this is helping with that?
I need to do some more research on this before I’d buy again, but if this is what is helping me recover a lot faster, I’d say it’s working.
