It helps especially if someone is baby sitting and they can use these!

When my kids were in the diaper phase, I primarily used Desitin and Aquaphor. While they were effective diaper rash relievers, they were such a pain to remove from my fingers once I was done applying them. When I first came across this item, I honestly thought it seemed kind of gimmicky. However, I have a family member who is due to have a baby soon, so I picked these up on a lark for her. They are actually much better than I was expecting, and I would have definitely put them to good use with my own kids.
This item comes as a set of (4) spatulas — (2) large and (2) small. One set is tan and the other is baby blue. The colors of the ones I received look pretty close to those shown online. They are all made of silicone, and my set was in good condition upon arrival — no nicks or imperfections in the material, and no strange odors or off gassing coming from the plastic bag in which they were packaged.
All of them are smooth and easy to grip, and the spatulas are flexible but not floppy. I tested them with Aquaphor. It was a breeze to get a scoop of the ointment out of the tub and spread cleanly and evenly on my skin. I found it to best to use a tissue or baby wipe to wipe remaining ointment off the spatula before properly cleaning it. Hot, soapy water is generally sufficient for cleaning these after diapering use, but they are able to be sterilized if that is your preference.
The only thing that is a slight detraction for me is the position of the suction cups at the ends of the handles. The suction ends are a great feature as they allow you to rest the spatula upright vs. having to lay it down on your changing table/pad (where it could roll around and spread germs). The ones on my set suction well and had a much stronger seal than I was expecting. That being said, when I was holding the spatula, the suction cup always kept resting against my hand in an odd way. I wish the handle was slightly longer so that I was able to fully grip the middle of it and not keep bumping into the suction cup. However, this minor issue would not prevent me from continuing to use this product or recommending it to others.

My daughter bought these and brought one for me.to use when the grandbaby is here. At first I was like what is this thing. Then I used it and wondered where this was when my kids were little. Very nice to not have to get your fingers messy when applying cream to the babies but. It is soft and gentle. I love this and will be giving to new mommas from now on.

These little baby butt spatulas are a complete game changer! I include these in every baby shower gift because they are just so amazing. Butt cream is just so hard to remove from under your fingernails and it has this greasy feeling and you always have to wash your hands after applying it, not only the fact that it’s not that sanitary to be rubbing around down there with your hands. I love using these spatulas because it eliminates the mess. This pack comes with two full size spatulas, and even smaller ones that are handy for keeping in a diaper bag, I must have for every baby registry or new mom

As a first time mom, these are amazing! I know that I can wipe my finger off after applying rash cream but I just don’t like the feeling of it or it getting under my nails! These are amazing and o have them everywhere now

These mini spatulas are pure genius when it comes to diaper changes! They make it a breeze to apply barrier creams and diaper creams without the mess of getting it on your fingers. It is made with a nice silicone material and is gentle for baby too. The suction cups on the bottom help to place them wherever you need without falling over and getting messy. I love using these!
