Honestly, I not 100% sure if they are working or not. I started these as soon as I started the slow-carb, Four Hour Body diet. I have a slow thyroid and PCOS and I have to say this diet has been the most successful diet I have ever been on. Tim Ferriss has yet to suggest something that hasn’t worked so I’m going to say these are helping with my progress. I do suggest taking the daytime supplements with food, if not they do cause some indigestion. Absolutely worth a try if you are not sure.

Let me first off start by introducing myself so you know where this review is coming from. I used to be an avid natural bodybuilder, I used to be a personal trainer, and I’m overall obsessed with fitness. I’ve tried all kinds of legal and semi-legal methods to cut fat and gain muscle. I’ve never tried steroids. I learned over the course of 10+ years that the most effective diet pills are either illegal or require a prescription. Even the prescription ones don’t all work as well as I think they should.
I’ve tried;
-bromocriptine it’s a legal, Rx medicine used to treat menstraul problems, Parkinson’s diseases and pituitary glands. In smaller doses, it’s used to control hunger and blood sugar in people with diabetes. It ended up working well but only after suffering a bout of nausea for the first week or two
-EC stack. Ephedrine and caffeine, it’s a legal, BTC combination that works great at suppressing hunger, increasing your metabolic rate and providing good energy. After about a month of continuous use the ephedrine stops suppressing hunger.
-thermogenics— work well for the most part, end up giving me some gastrointestinal problems if used continuously.
-and this. PAGG.
I tried this by reccomendation from Tim Ferriss. I’m still mixed on my feelings about his research and self-experimentation. But for the most part I like his work. I got this on a whim and man am I glad I did. I want to be clear though; the company that actually makes THIS particular PAGG stack, I know nothing about. My review therefore is on the stack that Tim Ferriss takes, not necessarily this company. Although for all intents and purposes, the both are one and the same so do with that what you will.
The first few days taking this didn’t do much for me. It was after the 3rd or 4th day taking it consistently that I started to notice a difference. First off, my hunger is by and large suppressed for the most of the day. I’m literally not hunger AT ALL until 3PM or 4PM, and I think that’s only because my significant other gets home around that time and I love eating with her. I’m now starting my 2nd week on this and the effect increases slightly everyday I take it. Hunger is suppressed, low increases of energy and focus, good sleep. Every once in a while I feel nauseous for like 30min after taking my morning dose but that’s literally the only negative side effect I’ve experienced so far. I’ve lost several pounds already. It’d be ridiculously to take this and not eat healthier/count your calories, you still gotta do that. Focus on eating healthy foods and exercising.
I would reccomend this for; people looking to lose weight, bodybuilders, athletes trying to make weight or drop body fat percentage, and much more. I really really like this stack. The best I’ve ever tried, and it’s legal with no Rx required!

Started to use this after reading the 4 hour body. I instantly noticed that my hunger pains curbed! Since taking this product, changing to a vegan superfood shake in the morning and increasing workouts, I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks and increased muscle mass. It takes some getting used to in order to take it before every meal and at night. I do notice some “repeat” with the garlic, burping up the taste from time to time. But other than this, it was very effective for me!

Definitely an issue with the labeling on this product and it is not the PAGG stack in terms of the correct dosing of the ingredients. The correct doing for PAGG from the 4 Hour body are: Policosanol (23mg/day), Alpha-Lipoic Acid (300-900mg/day), Green Tea Flavanol (975-1300mg/day), Garlic Extract (800mg/day). They got the policosanol right but overall dosing is just downright confusing in this product and should be more clear. Great price on this one but it does seem like it may be due to key ingredients being underdosed.

I have been tracking my fat losses (body measurements and weight) both without PAGG and with PAGG while doing the Slow Carb Diet in 4HB. I haven’t noticed a significant difference in my losses while on the PAGG stack. Maybe this really works for some people. Maybe the fact that you’re taking a capsule four times a day works as a placebo effect to keep people accountable with things they are already supposed to be doing for a healthy lifestyle. I can’t say for certain. I’m going to let my supply run out. Heads up to anyone with heartburn problems – garlic can be a major trigger food. It was for me. I had to deal with the worst heartburn of my life after taking a few PAGG capsules before I figured out what was going on and went back on a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole).

PAGG is interesting. It’s not like you take it and get super powers or lose 20 pounds instantly. I’ve been doing Keto for several years and wanted a little extra boost. I’ve taken the supplement for two months, with a month off in between. I can tell from my weight (really fat) loss more on the months that I take it vs. the months I don’t. It’s a great product. There’s a ton of research in the Four Hour Body about it. I’d recommend cycling to get the full effects and to see the difference!

Great product. 57 year old male and lost over 45 pounds in 4 months on the Slow Carb diet and supplementation with this PAGG Stack. On the maintenance phase now and have continued my use of the PAGG Stack and have kept my weight down. Tried other PAGG Stacks and I felt that they didn’t have the same effect as this stack. Happy with this Stack!
