This lip balm is really nice; it smells lovely, feels smooth, and best of all, protects from the sun. I wore it outside all day when I was in direct sunlight, and my lips did not burn (and they usually do if I do not protect them). My only “complaint” is that the lids are very thin, and I accidentally broke one when I gripped it too hard. It’s no big deal; I learned to adjust my grip strength when taking the lid off. Overall, I’m happy with the product!

These have a nice feel to them My lips are soft but as far as a watermelon scent goes, you barely can smell it and certainly there is no taste.

I am so happy I tried these! I initially got the Tropical pack but loved them so much that I also ordered the Variety pack. I get really chapped lips due to dehydration and regular chapstick feels like I’m just coating them in wax. These Bambalo lip balms are totally different though – they slide on like butter, feel super moisturizing and seep into my delicate lip skin to hydrate them completely. I can feel the cocoa butter, beeswax, aloe vera and coconut oil filling in all those little dry cracks on my lips and healing them. These feel much more healing than any other chapsticks or balms I’ve tried.
I love that they are made in the U.S. with natural ingredients and free from parabens. Also appreciate that they are cruelty free and don’t test on animals! This tells me that the company actually cares about living things, not just money, and makes me more confident in their products. This is important when putting stuff on my mouth where I am likely to ingest some of the product.
I also noticed that I don’t need to reapply this very often. Because it really melts into my lips, they stay hydrated and moisturized far longer than other chapsticks, lipsticks and glosses. Rubbing my lips together also reactivates it and provides more moisture. The fact that there is sunscreen in this balm has ensured that this will be my first choice all year ’round!
The flavors smell and taste a bit different than big name brands but that’s because these are natural, not full of synthetic and chemical scents like others. I love the coconut one the best so far! These have been kinda life changing for me as they have transformed my lips from dry and chapped to moisturized and healed. I love them!

I get dry lips in the winter and I need something to keep them moist. When they get dry I lick them and then they seem to get drier and eventually crack, which often makes laughing rather painful. My wife has the same problem with dry lips, so we use balm products a lot. I used to choose the cheapest I can find, but I saw some information on the various additives some companies use, such as phthalates, PABA and parabens and I started using better quality and more natural products, which my wife had been using. These lip balm sticks are perfect for what I look for. The ingredients seem all natural. In fact, they look like they would make a nice snack. The seller mentions they don’t use PABA or parabens and I saw no reference to phthalates or other unnatural additives in the ingredients. I really like that they are manufactured in the USA, which is always comforting to know when dealing with products you apply to your body, especially on your lips where you may be licking it. The sticks are similar to most lip balm products I have used. I tried the orange version and my wife used the coconut. We like our choices in terms of aroma and the balm applied nicely and seems to keep our lips moist, as the kissing test was successful. The other important part of lip balm is of course the ability to protect your lips from the sun, which is less of a problem for us in the winter, as we haven’t engaged in much cold weather activities for some time, but when warmer weather comes it’s nice to know this product has SPF 15 protection. Years ago I never heard of folks getting skin cancer, but these days it’s become rather common. Overall, my wife and I like this product, especially the fact that it’s all natural and works well for us in terms of keeping our lips from drying out.

If you’ve ever burned your lips, you know how important SPF lip protection is. I once sat at my son’s double header baseball game facing perfectly due west as the sun was setting. My lips paid for that mistake for the next week. I’ve never made that mistake again and I look for balms with SPF. Interestingly, it isn’t as common as you think. I’ve had to order some more expensive, name brand skin care items to serve the purpose. So to find a balm this reasonably priced was a great surprise. I love the orange flavor and it applies beautifully. This was a great find!
