I bought these because I have an iron insufficiency plus I need to take methylated B products. This has both along with folate (I have genetic MTHFR issues). Since taking these my iron levels have risen (it takes a long time according to my pharmacist. They are not difficult to swallow and I do know they are helping due to more blood tests. I recommend these for someone who may have MTHFR issues and / or low iron issues (of course talk to your doctor first).
