After researching I find that this Mg oxide has a low absorbency rating. Other types of Mg are reported to benefit brain, muscle, sleep etc., and a better absorbency. I cannot recommend this. The better types are also sold on Amazon. Do your own research.

As a runner, I could tell the difference in how my muscles felt the day after a hard run. It reduced the stiffness in my joints, and soreness in my muscles. I highly recommend Mg to all my running friends. My 83 year old mother also takes it regularly because it soothes her muscles as well. The lower dosage, 250 mg, keeps it from becoming a laxative 🙂
