These are a fine choice for a joint supplement. They have a good amount of glucosamine and chondroitin, but the capsules aren’t too huge, making them relatively easy to swallow. And the price is reasonable for a four-month supply. Overall, I’m pretty happy with these, and would purchase them again in the future.

365 Vitamins and Supplements from Whole Foods offers Glucosamine Chondroitin in easy to take daily doses now delivered to your door. The 240 capsule count will last you quite awhile and after a couple weeks works as well as the version that I was previously taken. My only issue was the lack of MSM that has become standard for this bone/tissue/joint supplement but yet at the higher price when included.

My wife takes these and we were starting to run low on the previous brand she had been using. I started looking around and found these, which end up being way more cost effective than the previous brand by far. Another nice aspect of these is that they are easy to swallow and will last you 3 months, if you take 2 per day.
One thing to note is that you should not take these if you are allergic to shellfish, there is a warning on the back label.

Glucosamine Chondroitin is one of those supplements that you really should be taking past 50 to help support your bodies framework. Glucosamine helps build tendons, ligaments, cartilage and helps your joints with the fluid it needs for movement and lubrication. Plus this is a simple fast acting way to take it and get it into your system. I like that it is a large capsule count bottle instead of the majority of supplement bottles that only contain 60 or 90 in each which is a more expensive way to buy. This is like an economy bulk value bottle. Nice.

Ingredients
Glucosamine and Chondroitin are well known supplements for improving joint health. I will get into my experience with them later. The product contains very little otherwise which I like.
The pills are in capsules which are smooth and easy to swallow compare to some other products that come in large chalky tablets.
Effectivity
I have some arthritis in one knee and get some stiffness and soreness. I have found that these ingredients do provide some improvement. Not totally life changing but better and that’s good enough for me. Is it placebo effect? I can’t say for sure but I can share that my dog also has arthritis to the point where he was becoming lame. Our vet suggested supplements containing the same ingredients (in proportional quantities to his weight) and he has been taking them faithfully for more than a year. The results have been outstanding. He doesn’t show nearly as much stiffness and even runs a little bit. This has greatly improved his quality of life. I am certain in his case there is no placebo effect. So I believe in the ingredients, but you have to be consistent in taking the supplements. This isn’t a pain med you only take when you are feeling bad.
I’m a believer in this stuff and hope it can help me delay any further surgeries along with strengthening and not doing dumb things. The Whole Foods brand is a plus for me also because I feel more confident that it is produced to a high standard.

Two capsules have 750mg glucosamine and 600mg chondroitin, from shellfish
Two capsules weigh 2192mg, so that leaves 842mg of filler and capsule.
These are normal gelatin capsules, and probably easier to take than the pressed pills. On the other hand, there is some powder on the outside of the capsules, probably from a broken capsule somewhere in the bottle.

I’ve been taking Glucosamine with Chondroitin for some time and can really tell that the combination works for me. I do a lot of running and had notice my knees getting a bit more achy over the years due to previous soccer injuries. When I first started taking these supplements I didn’t have high confidence but they do help!
