I have only used this product for two days so far. I wanted to try it because the ingredients listed are considered beneficial to making skin look less lined. Please see starred* section below where I detail benefits of the four ingredients in this serum. I put the serum on my palm with the dropper and applied it to my face. I know other people have said it has no scent, but I smell a slight scent when applying it, like the smell of acetone in fingernail polish remover. The good news is that the scent rapidly disappears. The product hasn’t caused any irritation on my sensitive facial skin.
It is too early to say whether this will reduce the appearance of lines on my face, of which I have many. However, I only gave the product three stars because I am a bit suspicious of some of the words used in the marketing of this serum. It doesn’t seem right to call it a botox serum when there is no botox in it. I can tell you that it doesn’t provide an “instant face lift” as it claims in the large summary type describing the product. I checked into the manufacturer and found some confusing information. The only address on the product is that of Apex CE Specialist Limited in Manchester, United Kingdom, but Apex doesn’t make the product; they distribute products from other manufacturers, so I don’t know where this serum is made. Furthermore, if this were made in the U.K., the directions for use would likely incorporate better English. For example, step 1 in the directions reads exactly, “Cleansen face as your routin.”
*Ingredients are usually listed in order of the ingredient used in the greatest amount first, followed by those in smaller amounts. This serum lists collagen as its first ingredient and I know that collagen is respected for having great moisturizing benefits. Hyaluronic acid is the second ingredient. It is known for moisturizing the skin, making fine lines less noticeable. The third ingredient is ceramides which help maintain moisture and act as a barrier to pollutants. Vitamin C, the fourth ingredient, is considered hydrating and helps reduce pigmentation.

As you age, it sure helps to find quality products to fight fine lines and wrinkles. This one caught my eye, and I’m hoping it’s one of those worthwhile ones. The distribution company is based in the United Kingdom. The name Botox is eye-catching but misleading, because the ingredients are collagen, hyaluronic acid, ceramide and vitamin C. Misnomer aside, I really like it so far. It comes in a heavy glass bottle with dropper. While the serum itself is quite thick, it absorbs pretty quickly. Within just a few minutes of applying it to a couple problem places on my face, the skin felt smoother and soft. Seems like a really good value for two bottles. I’ll update if there’s anything to report after continued use.
