I’ve been taking these for about 3 weeks now and appreciate the thoughtful list of minerals, electrolytes, and vitamins supportive of my long-term Keto diet. My ketones were stable before and have remained stable since I began taking them, so no impacts there, which is a good thing. These do have a good list of minerals that are depleted in the body when on Keto and overall I find these plus fish oil and a food-based multivitamin to be all I need on a daily basis. One note: I had been taking a vitamin D supplement prior to beginning these but noticed these already have 50mcg of vitamin D so I stopped taking the extra D supplement. Be mindful of the supplements you’re already taking when starting these as these do have the extra vitamin D that you may be picking up through other supplements. I started taking this Keto Support and was doing fine on it, but when I went to the doctor for my annual physical she told me my labs showed that my vitamin D level was too high and to back off on the D. That is a switch because most of my life I was way too low in vitamin D, so I have had to take supplements to bring it up in the past. As I started looking through some of my supplements I realized that several of them have a lot of D3 in them. The labs were taken before I started taking these, so it wasn’t due to these Keto supplements, but when I realized the D in it, I had to stop taking it. This Keto Support Blend has 50mcg of D, which is 250% of your daily value. Even though these seem like very good supplements, I’m putting them on hold until I get my labs rechecked in 3 months to make sure I can take them.
For people low in vitamin D this would be great, because it also has in it, vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium and Potassium.
These are typically the nutrients a body can be depleted of during ketosis.
I gave it 5 stars because it’s a good product, and I felt great taking it, but for me, I just need to make sure with my labs and doctor before continuing to use them.
It did make me realize that you need to watch when taking multiple supplements, because in my case, several of the ones I’m taking have in them the same vitamins.
These capsules are easy to swallow and the serving size is 2 capsules daily.
