   I have a Bichon Frise little dolly. She got beard stains from a change in dog food. The chemicals in the coloring of the food stained her beard bright and deep maroon. I have tried everything, including Crown Royal Whitening powder. (Which is bleach. But a VERY mild bleach, which must be why they call it whitening powder!) use bright white shampoo. She gets brushed 2 x a day. In the end, I needed to trim the stain off and wait for it to grow out. Fix the reason for the stains.

   White dogs = brown discolored fur! My fur baby has discolored fur on his muzzle due to drinking water and the constant moisture from his mouth. Purple shampoo helps some but this stuff is the best at removing the discoloration! I just brush it on using a hair color applicator and them sit with him as it processes. 20 minutes is usually enough. I tell him not to try to eat it or lick as it sits on his face. He knows now after a couple of treatments what he has to do. Then, I just rinse it off well with warm water and shampoo/bathe him as usual. It makes all the difference in how white his fur is. I have never had a problem with his skin reacting to it; no harshness in the application or strong chemical smell from the product. It has no odor and has never caused a rash or skin reaction. 10/10 !!

   The only reason why I’m giving this item 4 stars is because I feel like if it’s not used properly it might be harsh on the hair…. my dog hasn’t experienced any skins issues etc. but keep in mind I opted to wash it out daily and then reapply just to be safe.

   Ok I purchased this item in anticipation that Eye envy would not work (and it didn’t after 15 days of use). At any rate, this product actually does what it says! It WHITENS … so be very careful it is a bleaching agent.
   But I will say this it did not bother my Bentley one bit. Although, I did use the gel slightly differently. First off, I washed Bentleys face with just some regular oatmeal dog shampoo I have. Then I apply the gel (I use his comb each time to comb it through and make sure the gel is applied evenly. I then apply the gel again when I get home from work in the evening. The next day I wash his face again with a lil shampoo then I apply the gel the same as I did the day before. Just a note you don’t need to use an excessive amount of gel.

   After about 3 days I started to see the stains fade and I saw real improvement after five. I have included before and after pics. This stuff really works but I would caution to be very careful with when you apply ….I decided to apply the gel when I had time to sit and monitor him while it dried. GOOD LUCK!

   I have a Maltipoo. Bad eye stains. I tried 3 other products. Even asked the vet on what to do. She said that no products sold in the US actually work, as most are dangerous. I saw some Youtube videos on this one. Bought it. Used it diligently for 2 weeks. It actually works! I think how it works is you put the gel on the dog hair 3 times, and the tear stains seems to wash out after you use tearless shampoo and massage the gel out. Takes repeated use and I comb out the tear gunk before I apply the gel. You can buy combs to get the tear gunk out. I might note, it’s probably toxic if you get it in the dogs eyes. So I always apply it with my index finger tip very cafefully not to hurt my little dog’s eyes. Do not apply with Qtips or a papertowel because you probably can’t be that precise. Great product. Will keep buying. It’s a big tub and will probably take me a year to use it all.

   Amazing product for my dog!! I have tried everything on the market to help my baby with his tear stains and this is the only product that actually works!! Do not hesitate! Get it!!

   Amazing! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this product before. I don’t know why more people aren’t raving about it, like the “pros” that use this should be telling everyone about it! But maybe they want to keep it a secret? I have a Maltese, and she does not come with the best genes since she’s a BYB dog, so she has had tear stains that just make it look like her face is dirty, when it’s not. People that don’t know about dogs tear stains really do think I don’t clean her well enough. But I would never dare give my baby “angel eyes”, that’s just horrible for her.

   So I was glad when I found out about this product and thought I would give it a try. It’s actually quite gentle but powerful. I have left it on my skin to see what it can cause, and it did nothing to me like dry it out or burn or anything like that. So then I tried it on the hair under her eyes, and it actually works! It lightens the stains tremendously. Be aware that this does NOT get rid of the PROBLEM, for that you need to know what exactly is causing the tear stains (multiple possible reasons), but it DOES lighten the hair drown that was stained to the point where the face looks white again.

   I was so impressed that I am making a video of the whole process from the beginning. From the first time I applied it what her face was like, how often I applied it, and the final results are almost done. If you’d like to see the video before purchasing this product you can find it in YouTube under channel name Cloud9Maltese it should be up in a few weeks. Not advertising it, but I just don’t think there’s enough people talking about this product. And maybe some people don’t even know how to use it to get the best results so maybe that’s why they’re not getting results? Well that’s why I decided to make it anyways.

   Definitely worth a try!

   Does not work that well. It does lighten the stain some, but it is like a bleach and it also effects the texture of the hair over time.
