I don’t know why but this powder creates a much creamier, smoother, foamier smoothie for me than my last protein powders. The chocolate flavor is hardly noticeable but it goes down easy and feels good. I put flax seed meal in my smoothies and with my last protein powder, it often felt like I was chewing my smoothie. With this product, I’m sipping down smoothness and don’t have to chew – it’s like the more foamy matrix it creates in my smoothy makes the flax seed meal go down easier. Yay! I was just looking to try something new and I’m pleased.

This falls in the same camp as a huge amount of vegan proteins. Very gritty. It’s unfortunate that it is so hard to make a delicious smooth protein shake with vegas protein sources, but that’s just the way things are currently.
The flavor otherwise is acceptable. It could be sweeter, more vanilla forward, etc. That might help override the grittiness… but it is definitely drinkable.
I personally think vegas proteins should lean on the cinnamon oatmeal flavor vibe as you are always going to have flavors like that from the proteins themselves… just go with it and try to trick people into thinking it was intentional.
But also, if you’re making vegan protein, you are just going to have to use the best flavorings on the market. Settling for anything less is not OK as you have a lot of odd flavor and texture you have to get past compared to whey protein.

I admit I am not limited to vegan protein powders, but I figured having this to switch things up or for those times when I want to consume less dairy would be a good idea. However, I can’t get past the taste. It doesn’t taste TERRIBLE but I can absolutely taste the pea protein and I’m not a fan of peas in general. It also is very lightly sweetened and has a faint taste of vanilla, so nothing to mask the pea or protein-y taste. I appreciate the blend of proteins used so you get the best of all of them, I like the idea, but the execution wasn’t for me.
Macros aren’t too bad, especially given it’s a vegan protein powder but it’s also a little pricey at the current price of $30 for only 17 servings!

I have recently been forced into a vegan type lifestyle and I am really lacking getting my protein in. I can not have any dairy, and I have to be very careful of any other additives and that makes it hard when getting a protein powder that I can tolerate.
This one is vanilla flavored, but not overly so. I have a home nut/oat milk maker and I add this to that while I am making my milks. This helps blend the powder as well add a little more to my milks.
As for taste it is ok, I don’t get the chalky after taste and that is plus.

Everything on the ingredient list says organic! The protein powder is made from a mix of pea, rice, and pumpkin proteins, so it’s vegetarian, too, and it doesn’t have any sugar added. The flavor is clearly vanilla – it’s not super strong, but you can taste it. The powder cakes together just a bit, so you might need to put just a little extra effort into mixing it.

This protein powder is excellent! It mixes smoothly into my smoothies without any chalky texture. The flavor is light and natural—not overly sweet, which I appreciate. It’s hard to find a vegan protein powder that tastes this good and doesn’t upset my stomach. I’ve been using it post-workout, and it keeps me feeling full without bloating. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. I’m already on my second tub! I love the ingredients in it, and think they are top quality, and really good for your body. The protein content should be higher; but it’s low enough in calories you aren’t sacrificing. Worth a try! I love it:

I am on a special detox program that requires I eat strictly vegan with no sugar. I have struggled to find protein powders I could use because they either had sugar or artificial sweeteners I couldn’t handle.
I am also off all dairy and didn’t want to use almond or similar alternative milk products (almond, cashew, etc).
When I saw Oranga Organic Vegan Protein Powder, I thought it might be too good to be true. The description said you could drink this with water. Seriously? It has pea protein, which I’ve tried in the past. I always found pea protein to taste horrible and be gritty. Nothing I tried worked.
That is not the case with Organa. I mixed one scoop of the chocolate with 8 ounces of water and some crushed ice. I blended it for a few seconds and was delighted. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake. It was thick and frothy, and there was no grit. It didn’t settle at the bottom of the glass. It was fabulous.
I’m unsure if you’re supposed to add ice, but it worked for me.
I enjoyed every sip. Every time I made this protein powder, it was delicious. I do want to say that taste is purely subjective. Even though I love the taste, I can’t guarantee everyone will. Pea protein powders can be difficult for some people to enjoy and digest. You will only know if you try it for a few days.
There was no aftertaste and none of the disgusting pea protein or grittiness. I didn’t get a headache, nor did it upset my stomach. I drank it on an empty stomach for about one hour after lunch. Both times, it was just fine.
I did not experience any diarrhea, constipation, or bloating.
I am going to order this power in vanilla now that I love the chocolate so much. I am so incredibly thrilled because none of the ingredients are on my forbidden list. It’s sweet but not too sweet. Some protein powders that don’t have sugar have some other sweeteners that I have not enjoyed.
I also loved that the scoop was near the top. Sometimes, protein powers have scoops buried at the bottom, and that is so annoying. This product arrived quickly and was carefully packaged. It was easy to open. I have zero concerns or complaints.
This company just found a very loyal customer. 5+ stellar stars.
