This low calorie zero carb, zero sodium, zero fat chocolate protein powder actually taste great! No aftertaste like other protein powders. The powder used to come in plastic tubs. Now it comes in a strong plastic bag. Not a Ziploc. It does come with a plastic clip to hold the bag closed but the clip is a little difficult to use. The scoop has been redesigned and has a shorter handle. I like the longer handle better.

I have tried just about every protein powder and RTD shakes…. NOTHING comes close to Syntrax Nectar Sweets. Absolutely the best tasting protein product available. I’ve tried all the flavors and they are all wonderful but my favorite is the chocolate truffle. To die for! I have one or two shakes a day as meal replacements ( I had weight loss surgery)…here’s how I make my shakes…. 8oz Unsweetened Almond Breeze Almond Milk (plain, not vanilla), 3 or 4 ice cubes…I blend the milk and ice cubes first in my personal blender until the ice is smooth….then I add about a 1/3 cup of Breyers Low Carb ice cream, some almond extract to taste, then I add the Nectar powder and about a 1/2 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and pulse a few times and it’s done. OMG… Delicious! The entire process takes me about 2 minutes. I’ve made these shakes for friends and they are shocked at how good they are. I also will fix a quick shake with just the almond milk and Nectar when I know I’m low on protein that day…. for about 130 calories I get 24g of protein. Try Nectar Sweets— you will not be disappointed!

Me encanta el sabor y buena tabla nutriciónal, es fácil de disolver. Puede llegar a ser muy dulce con agua, pero con leche vegetal se balancea.

this is by far, THE BEST protein powder I have tried, and I have tried many! I do like another one, which is unflavored and organic, so I switch off, but Nectar Sweets is delicious in this flavor! I’m on a weight loss plan that asks me to consume at least 100g of protein daily while keeping my carbs under 100. For someone who likes bagels and bread, this has been no easy task. Like learning to eat all over again! One scoop (or one packet if you buy the small packets) gives you 23g of whey protein isolate which I’m told is the best kind. Better than that, it tastes good, no it tastes really good!! My recipe for what I call a power shake is: 1 scoop/packet of chocolate truffle powder, 1 tbl PB powdered peanut butter, 1 small banana (smaller than 6 inches or half of a larger one), 1 cup of water and some ice cubes. It says it mixes completely with a spoon but I did not find that to be the case, so I threw it into my VitaMix blender and whirred till it was nice and frothy! Heaven in a glass! It is 194.5 calories with my additions and it keeps me feeling full and satisfied till the next time I need to eat. Best of all, it does not have that weird aftertaste some protein powders or drinks have that make you sorry you ingested them (Muscle Milk being the top offender for me). this is a pretty good buy for the big tub, a little less than at the clinic where I go. It has a natural taste and I’m very happy with it. Good idea to try it in the sample packets to see what you like, I have about 8 other flavors I have yet to try. the only other one I tried was the Twisted Cherry and I didn’t like that one, way too sweet for me. this chocolate truffle one is sure to be my favorite!!! Yum and low calories/carbs, too! a winner for me and maybe for you, too!

-watery texture, but I didn’t mind that. The taste was STILL fantastic, even with water. Wasn’t expecting that.
Bottom line is, using some kind of milk will give you a better texture, but if you prefer your protein with just water, the taste is still phenomenal. Some other products I tried taste pretty bad unless you add milk, but not this “Chocolate Truffle” stuff.
I am very pleased! When I’m cutting, I avoid too much milk and this product works great with plain water! (And some ice cubes)
I love chocolate, so I’ve tried many different chocolate flavored protein powders. This one is by far my favorite. Next up is Body Fortress “Chocolate Peanut Butter” flavor.

I have tried a ton of protein shakes and I hated them…Absolutely DESPISED them. I would order whatever had good reviews on Amazon and other health websites, and there was always a disgusting after taste I couldn’t get used to. I LOVE this product (Chocolate Truffle flavor). It tastes great and I actually look forward to drinking it. I have a 3 protein shake requirement per day for a bariatric surgery diet, and this provides an adequate amount of protein.
I was worried the taste would be so overpowering because the scoop is big, but it definitely wasn’t! It kind of tastes like Yoo-hoo. If you mix it with a spoon, it leaves a little powder on top, so I prefer mixing in the magic bullet or a personal blender.
I use it to make hot chocolate. Since I’m not able to have milk yet, I heat up water in our coffee machine or tea kettle and pour it into a mug with the powder. It tastes great!
Before my surgery, I used to mix 1 scoop with milk (using less milk than suggested, for a bolder flavor) and 1/2 a banana and it tasted like a banana milkshake. I would also add some sugar free chocolate syrup for a sweeter taste (but the powder is already sweet).
I plan to drink this brand/flavor for a few years, and I am hoping they keep it around forever!

Not my favorite flavor. It was not as strong of a chocolate flavor that I expected.
I have found that I really LOVE the strawberry mousse and fuzzy navel. VERY good.
This brand of protein shakes is by far the best tasting, easy to mix, not gritty that I have tried.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a protein shake. I have converted my sister once she tried the vanilla flavor.
