I’ve tried to put this in tiny amounts in water or dumping it in half a bottle and taking it in one hard gulp. Either way it’s so bad, trust me I understand the benefit of the raw minerals however it’s just not possible to drink this stuff. It’s absolutely dreadful doing it & is by far the worst part about a fast.
Good luck, it can be done

I agree that this tastes like a$$, but all is not lost!
This tastes bad because of the sodium bicarbonate, baking soda. It is that distinct, repellent flavor that is hard to ignore; everyone can sense its base essence in a batch of homemade cookies where the cook mistook “tsp” for “Tbls” when it came to the leavening. Yuck.
The fix here is acid. This is the reason the label says to add lemon juice, it is not just a flavor suggestion, acids literally balances base components back to neutral. I find that if I add half a scoop of powder to 32 ounces of water with one tsp of ACV and one tsp of lemon juice, it almost tastes like plain water again. I drink two of these a day, one in morning and one at night; thus consuming one scoop a day in the 64 ounces of supplemented water. I drink lots of tea and iced black coffee as well.
Adding these acids has not created any problems in my fasting, and it has greatly increased my comfort while doing so. I don’t get muscle cramps or twitches, and I don’t suffer from the fatigue or brain fog that I notice when I have even slightly low mag and potassium levels. I swear but this stuff and appreciate that it lasts a long time for me.
PS: As far as mixability goes, I have found a way to get it incorporated. I add the acids to 8 ounces of water and mix in the half scoop of powder with a milk frother, then I let it sit for a few minutes while I putter around the kitchen doing other stuff. Then I give it another whirl before topping it with the other 24 ounces of water. It seems to dissolve much better in the cup of concentrated acidic water, rather than the diluted 32 ounces of water. Lots of ice also helps greatly for highest palatability.
I hope these tips help anyone out there who needs to consume this product. Be well! ♥️

i’ve been experimenting with fasting for about a year now. Went from 283 lbs last december to 208 lbs currently. I’ve done multiple 3 day fasts and never supplemented electrolytes. In fact i remember the first time i attempted a 3 day fast during my work week ( my job requires a lot of walking and i walk to and from work so i usually clock about 20k steps a day) i almost passed out in a patients room and never attempted it again lol. now that could of been because of hyperglycemia or just lack of electrolytes OR both but even during my successful fasts i would end up feeling fatigue/ lightheaded/ experienced brain fog and body cramps. I realized that this was probably a product of me drinking too much water and flushing out all of the electrolytes in my body. Long story short. This product is the TRUTH. I put one scoop brain forza in a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water and chugged it. Monitored my water intake throughout the day as i didn’t want to flush the electrolytes out too fast and have the threat of passing out in a patients room again lol. Anyway, brain forza is definitely something i will be using regularly now. In fact it’s given me the confidence to attempt rolling 72 hr fasts even during my work week because of how amazing i felt the first time i used it. I was alert, i felt strong, i literally had zero hunger pangs during the 2nd and 3rd day of my fast which in my experience is unheard of haha. I love it!
(Sidenote: yes it doesn’t taste the best, that’s why i chose to put it in a small bottle of water and just chug it as opposed to sipping on it all throughout the day. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the taste and giving it a low rating which is crazy to me. Not everything is supposed to taste amazing. I’ll handle the TASTE department on my refeed day. I wouldn’t expect a fasting supplement to taste good and quite frankly wouldn’t trust a fasting supplement that tasted good

Many of the videos online won’t mention the brand, but this is the one you need – it has the exact formula for success. I did a 40 day water/herbal tea fast, and this was my only addition. No muscle cramps, nothing. I /did/ start tasting salt around day 18, so I looked it up, and I just needed some B12, and that took care of it.
Now – this won’t be for everyone, but the flavor was so distasteful (you don’t consume it for the FLAVOR, you consume it because it’s good for you…it’s MANDATORY if you’re doing a LONG fast!) that I took to just dumping a scoopful in my mouth, and washing it down with warm herbal tea. It immediately disintegrates in your mouth, so it’s just far easier – in my opinion. No taste, and it’s in there, and boom – winner!

I have a 64 oz water bottle and a scoop in it is very bearable. There is a taste and it turns the water cloudy, but it’s more than fine.

Product arrived looking like a clumped up mess. Whether it was back packaging or incorrect storage, neither is my fault. Not thrilled!
Update: Pretty easy to un-clump most of it with a fork. Keep jabbing at it until it’s more of a powder. Not ideal but the product itself does make staying hydrated with electrolytes simple and almost tasteless.

I am on my second 5 day water fast. The first one I did not take this supplement, I became very dehydrated and low on minerals. This means, exhaustion, leg cramps and a long recuperation after. I am on day 3 now and I almost haven’t noticed that I am fasting until today. I tested to see if I was in Ketosis, because I felt so normal, it didn’t seem like anything was different. I am fully in ketosis. The product doesn’t really dissolve into water, and it seems like more of a mush, which I thought was odd, but it seems to be working fine. I see all the complaints about the taste. This shows how humanity is so addicted to comfort. Fasting is not about Comfort. It doesn’t taste that great, but I don’t really care.
