Opening the SAKARA Energy Effervescents, the packaging gives off a premium vibe. It’s clean, modern, and the bright yellow accent suggests vitality, aligning with the product’s promise of energy. The individual packets offer convenience and the sense of a carefully crafted health supplement.
Key features include the blend of vitamin B12 for combating fatigue, organic maca for a natural energy boost, l-theanine for mental clarity, and electrolytes for hydration. The inclusion of ginkgo biloba is notable for cognitive support, though the presence of tree nuts could be a concern for those with allergies.
The use is quite straightforward: dissolve a packet into water, which makes it accessible for anyone seeking a quick energy boost without resorting to caffeine. The passion fruit lemonade flavor is a refreshing choice, appealing for those who might be weary of the typical citrus or berry flavors of energy drinks.
Performance-wise, the product seems to fulfill its promise, delivering a caffeine-free lift. However, the effects of such supplements can be subjective and vary from person to person.
In comparison with other electrolyte or energy powders, SAKARA’s focus on mental clarity and mood enhancement, in addition to energy, sets it apart. The price point may be a bit premium, but it appears justified by the quality ingredients and the brand’s ethos.
The product’s positives include its all-natural ingredient list, appealing flavor, and the convenience of the single-serve packets. It’s also commendable that it steers clear of refined sugars.
As for downsides, the cost may be prohibitive for some, and reliance on a single flavor could be limiting for those who prefer variety.
Summarizing, the SAKARA Energy Effervescents deliver a premium experience in boosting energy and mental focus. I would recommend them to health-conscious individuals seeking a natural, caffeine-free alternative to traditional energy drinks. The ideal user would likely be someone engaged in a wellness-focused lifestyle, looking for a quick, healthy pick-me-up during busy days.

I not only had to dump out my water bottle after trying a Sakara packet, I first tried diluting it in 3x as much water (24oz instead of the recommended 8oz), and the taste was still so horrible that the whole jug of water went down the drain. Even then, the cloying smell of the stuff was still present, so the water bottle had to go into the dishwasher immediately.
This just can’t beat Liquid IV at any price. At the time I requested this product to review, the price was $45 for 15 packets, which is about $3/packet. The sale price puts them about $1.73/packet, which is more reasonable but still doesn’t make up for a bad user experience.

I can’t really tell much of a difference with how I’m feeling, but the mix does taste nice

First off –
It took a few packets to figure this out- put 6-8oz of water in a glass, and add the packet to it. It will fizz normally.
If one, as we found out, adds the packet to an empty glass, and adds water to the glass, it will fizz uncontrollably and overflow the container.
Once you get that part figured out, it’s actually a pretty refreshing, invigorating drink with A LOT of beneficial ingredients.

I recognize the need to stay hydrated and replenish my electrolytes but never could abide the taste of Gatorade. I hoped that this powder would appeal to my tastebuds and be convenient to mix with a glass of cold water anytime.
It turns out that I’m not a fan of passionfruit flavor. The powder mixed well, but the flavor didn’t appeal to me. I tried it again today, just putting a portion of the packet into a cup of tea. That suited me better as it toned down the flavor but gave me the benefits.

Nice flavor
Obviously easy to use just pour in your bottle of water and shake
Dissolves nicely no huge clunks
Gives a nice boost of energy without the jittery after effect

While I’m not a fan of Stevia, it wasn’t an overpowering presence. I am a mom to a four year old (as you can hear in the video) so I was excited to try this yesterday afternoon, and have a minute to myself to watch the bubbles form as I poured the contents of the packet into my glass of cold water. This turned out to be quite the effervescent beverage and definitely tasted like a passion fruit lemonade. I’m sure this would be even more enjoyable by the pool on a hot summer’s day.
As far as feeling more energized? Well, I managed a 2 mile walk and then followed that up with an hour and a half in the gym. There were no shakes, jitters, or anxiety which typically haunt me after a caffeine intake. I’m happy Sakara does not include caffeine. It reads that it “inspires energy” and “eases stress”.
This morning I experimented with a different approach than yesterday. I had a glass of Sakara before my cup of morning coffee and so far I do not have that jittery feeling from the caffeine in my coffee. Maybe I have found the perfect combo to start my morning off right!
It is on the pricier side, I couldn’t afford to drink these every day. $45 for 15 packets means $3 per packet. It’s not bad, considering that’s the going rate for an energy-enhancing beverage these days, but I don’t buy daily drinks from stores. I make my own coffee at home. There is a convenience factor of having the ability to toss one in your bag while on-the-go, to keep in mind.
I say give these a try if you are not able to tolerate caffeine very well. Or like I mentioned, try this before your daily cup o’ Joe and you may be pleasantly surprised! I’m not a medical professional. It just worked well for me.
Thanks!
