SHORT REVIEW: This is a low scent, easy to swallow, high potency Vitamin K supplement from a reputable company with a 50 year history.
THE DETAILS:
Company Transparency: At Nature’s Plus Website we discover Gerald Kessler founded Nature’s plus in 1972, (a 50 year track record!), and he went on to be instrumental in “saving” the nutritional supplement industry in the 1990’s. It’s easy to find their current CEO on Linked In.
Accountability: NaturesPlus claims to manufacture their own products and to be Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified with the NSF (under the parent company name, Natural Organics).This was easy for me to verify. At their website they have an entire page full of safety/quality related certifications.
Quality: This appears to be a high potency Vitamin K supplement. They have minimal scent and are easy for me to swallow. One capsule has 2040 mcg of vitamin K (1700%) from Vitamin K1 (1600 mcg), Vitamin K MK-4 (320 mcg) and Mk-7 (120mcg), the MK-7, K2Vitale, is in a trademarked formulation of Kappa Bioscience. These 60 capsules would be a 2 month supply. Best by 5/2027.
I’ve read that the RDA for vitamin K is somewhere in the 90-120 mcg range, so this is more than 10 times that amount. I haven’t researched Vitamin K doses in this range, but if this is what you’re looking for I’d say it’s probably a good choice. 5 stars are for a high potency formulation, a trademarked ingredient, a long track record and verifiable certifications.

I take vitamin K to help balance out the high dosage of vitamin D3 that I take daily. I like that this supplement offers both vitamin K1 and K2. The capsules are small, easy to swallow, and without any unpleasant scent or taste. So far, I have not experienced any nausea or upset stomach issues at all. These appear to be a high quality supplement for the money.

This isn’t a supplement you’ll be able to tell that is helping you, but it is. It’s a very good price for the supply you receive. Tasteless and odorless, easy to swallow pill. From my research the ingredients are potent and quality. I take it daily with no adverse side effects.

I’ve fairly recently started taking K2 supplements after reading about how modern agricultural practices reduce the amount of K2 that we might have gotten from our food sources in decades past. This supplement would help to bridge that gap.

Aside from its own health benefits, vitamin K aids in the absorption of calcium. I take both supplements daily. I usually take vitamin K-2 MK7 (menaquinone) but decided to try this formula from NaturesPlus, as it also includes two additional forms of vitamin K: K1 and K2-MK4. I have not taken them before and am curious is to their benefits.
In reviewing vitamins and supplements I do not feel comfortable discussing that actual health benefits, as I am not a medical professional. I always advise anyone adding a supplement to their diet to consultant with their health professional beforehand. However, I do have three criteria that I can comment on:
1. Are the ingredients and their amounts explicitly stated on the label? yes
2. Are directions given for how many, when and how to take them given? yes
3. Are they in gel capsule form, which I prefer, vs tablets or gummies? yes
4. Is the manufacturer and its location provided, along with contact information? yes, partly. Natural Organics is indicated as the maker with the brand NaturesPlus and is based in New York State. A website is show, but no email or phone.
As my main criteria are met, I can recommend these vitamins on the condition that you determine that they are right for you — once you have spoken with your health provider.

Overall, this appears to be a great Vitamin K complex combo for overall health needs. I’m glad that Vitamin D3 is not included since I get it from other sources. I take Vitamin D3 to improve calcium absorption.
I get ample Vitamin K1 from my diet so I’m primarily interested in Natures Plus PRO Super K Complex for the Vitamin K2 MK4 and MK7. Both are great but MK7 is more bioavailable than MK4 and has a longer half-life in the bloodstream. MK4 has been clinically proven to increase bone density and MK7 has not. Much of the clinical research focuses on MK4 but that doesn’t necessarily make it better, just more research is needed on MK7. Vitamin K2 MK-7 has been clinically proven to be good for cardiovascular health as well as bone health. Basically, MK-7 helps to get calcium to where it’s needed and away from where it’s not like our arteries by routing calcium from the bloodstream into our bones. Vitamin K2 may be especially beneficial to those with preexisting coronary artery calcification. Unused Vitamin K, a fat-soluble vitamin, is stored in the liver and fat tissue. It can be utilized later as needed for clotting or bone metabolism. It is recommended to take Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K which work together synergistically to balance blood calcium levels. Based on my reading, the optimal dose for Vitamin K2 for bone health in postmenopausal women is much higher than that provided in Natures Plus PRO Super K Complex so taking 2 capsules daily rather than 1.
