I received this item for free from Vine. Some of my favorite products from Vine are the Korean skin care products and all the different health supplements that I get to sample. This is a combination of both. These are a great way to get some extra antioxidants in. The combination of vitamins and minerals should be easily absorbed if they are the quality that the manufacturer claims. The taste is great if you don’t mix it in with the recommended amount of water – the 16ish oz of water dilutes the flavor too much and it tastes like lightly lemon flavored water. I personally use about 3-4 oz of water with the powder then have a 12 oz glass of water afterwards – you need the full recommended water amount to get proper absorption.

The taste surprised me as I put my first packet in a cup of coffee and could not drink it because the taste surprised me. This retinol packet has a strong lemon acidic taste therefore I prefer not to mix it with nothing but water. I had never tried retinol that came in a packet as I have always taken a pill. The packet version is strong and I am having degenerative disc surgery in a few days so I am hoping that the supplement will provide me healthy skin so my incision area will heal faster and look flawless. The retinol has a lot of other common daily vitamin supplements so I am watching how much I take of my multivitamin as it contains these same supplements in a high dose also. The Korean language freaked me out however I was glad to see the English conversion. I love K-pop music such as BTS admire the beautiful flawless looking skin of the Korean Idols and actor/actress so I am hoping that the retinol will also give me that glowing, healthy skin at 67 years old. The price is about normal for retinol packets. So far, I have had not side effects from the product. I look forward after surgery to see if the retinol helps my incision to heal faster and smoother.

The seller clarified that the amount on the product nutritional label is for the entire packet not a single stick serving making the amounts of vitamins safe and reasonable taken in moderation. However, the labeling in my opinion needs to be changed to make this clearer. I can’t think of another supplement I’ve encountered that doesn’t list the nutritional information per serving, and not by the sum of all servings combined.

While the concept behind BB LAB Retinol C 1000—a blend of Vitamin C, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin E, B5, and Zinc—sounds appealing for radiant and healthy-looking skin, there are significant concerns regarding the accuracy of its labeling.
The product description lists 1,000 mcg RAE of Vitamin A, but the label states a much higher dose of 15,000 mcg RAE, which is five times the recommended Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) for adults. Such an excessive dose of Vitamin A can lead to toxicity, with risks including liver damage, bone issues, and other serious health concerns.
Similarly, the description of 2.25mg in the description slides is inconsistent with the 38.25 mg of Zinc listed on the product label. This amount is near the upper limit of the daily recommended intake, which can lead to potential side effects like nausea and mineral imbalances if consumed long-term.
Given the inconsistency between the product description and the label, and the risks associated with these high levels of vitamins and minerals, I personally cannot recommend consuming this product until there is clarity and assurance that the dosages are safe.

This is a simple-to-take daily skin support powder. You only need one small packet, and it blends easily with water and other liquids. I like to drink it in my daily protein shake. The flavor is subtle and natural. I haven’t experienced any negative effects from taking this supplement. I definitely recommend this product!

I have found these to be quite tolerable and even good when mixed with certain things. I usually drink it in a small amount of water or iced tea. I add in other vitamin drops also so I’m not doing it throughout the day. This lasted more more than a month due to some missed days but my skin looks and feels better. I’m definitely gonna want to purchase more of this.

I love the convenience and portability of the single serve packets. I also like the combination of ingredients. I found it easiest to mix the powder into soft foods. It has a fairly strong lemon flavor. I personally, do not love the flavor but it’s tolerable.
