I was really happy to find this product on here! Kind of hard to find, but this is the best form of Vitamin E!!

I took 3 capsules per day, 150 mg, (and also get 55 mg in another product). I did not experience any obvious, immediate benefits or side effects. I am headache prone, but did NOT get headaches or a migraine, as some users report with tocotrienols. I did have vivid emotional dreams, then an improvement in sleeping through the night, but that could have been caused by something else.
I cut one capsule open. It does NOT smell rancid. The taste is mild, like a nutty oil flavor.
Like many supplement companies, the dosage is deceptive: 150 mg (“per serving” in tiny text, after mg on the front), 60 softgels. They are 50 mg capsules and you get 60 of them. I counted 60 capsules in the bottle. A bottle that isn’t at least a 30-day-supply is a waste of plastic. However, 50 mg capsules allow you to split your daily dose, if desired.
Gluten Free is a good plus. MOST supplement makers don’t bother.
Vitamin E has 8 forms: 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols. Harvard studies in the 1990s showed that high-dose alpha tocopherol alone is not beneficial and is possibly harmful (for heart health and some cancers). One E researcher (Barrie Tan, Ph.D.) recommends no more than 15 mg of alpha tocopherol, and says tocotrienols are more beneficial.
Dosing recomendations for tocotrienols have typically been 50 mg per day, but newer research shows benefits at higher daily doses:
Arterial stiffness: 100-200 mg (Life Extension Magazine)
Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS: 200 mg (Life Extension Magazine)
Osteoporosis/bone building: 300 mg (Barrie Tan, Ph.D.)

Because the research is so good, I’ll probably continue taking 50 mg a day, with a month of 300 mg once or twice a year, to give my bones a boost, but spare my budget. I won’t necessarily stick with this brand. For 300 mg, that would be six capsules a day and a bottle would last 10 days.

Well I’m taking it but not sure what to expect or if it’s doing me any good but I feel fine. I log everything I eat & drink in an app, then at the end of the day if I haven’t met the RDA in any vitamin or mineral I can supplement accordingly, and these Tocotreinols were recommended by a well known You Tube ‘Doctor’ for people doing low carb/keto, as being better than Tocopherols.

Obvious disclaimer: I’m not a doc, this isn’t medical advice, and I am a sample size of 1.
I have high cholesterol and have taken statins for years to get it a bit lowered. I read a study out of Japan that said tocotrienols seemed to lower cholesterol. What the heck, let’s give ’em a try. So I did for about six months. At my next blood test, my cholesterol was *way* down. Like, surprisingly so.
ONCE AGAIN: This is a sample of 1 — uno! My cholesterol could have been affected by a lot of things, but the major change I made was taking tocotrienols and then it dropped. I’m keeping up and hoping I get the same results next time.
FINALLY: Keep in mind that what worked for me were tocotrienols, NOT tocopherol. Similar but not the same!

After watching a popular Chiropractor/Doctor/Nutritionist on YouTube, I learned the difference between the types of Vitamin E and how they help. I’ve been taking this for a few weeks but don’t know if it’s helping yet, I just know it doesn’t leave an after taste and it’s easy to swallow. Not a fan of having to take 3 a day … so I’ll probably search out another brand after I’m done with this bottle (which will be quick with that dosage).
