This energy drink shot is potent and effective, delivering a noticeable boost in energy thanks to 260mg of natural caffeine, equivalent to about 2-3 cups of coffee. It’s also packed with a mix of B vitamins, particularly Vitamin B12, at a whopping 8750% of the daily value, which might explain why the energy felt consistent without a significant crash. Adding mood-supporting ingredients like 5-HTP and calming extracts such as chamomile, lemon balm, and valerian root shows thoughtful formulation. These ingredients aim to balance the stimulating effects with a smoother experience, and I did notice some mild stress relief during use.
However, the taste is a significant downside. The “tropical berry” flavor leans heavily toward medicinal, with a lingering aftertaste that makes consuming unpleasant. I also experienced mild nausea after drinking, likely due to the concentrated blend of active ingredients on an empty stomach. This could be an issue for those with a sensitive palate or digestive system.
The product is sugar-free, keto- and vegan-friendly, which broadens its appeal. However, it uses sucralose as a sweetener, which some may prefer to avoid. The small, portable bottle makes it convenient for travel or quick use, but sipping isn’t an option here—the taste almost requires you to drink it in one go.
Overall, while the energy-boosting effects are undeniable, the taste and potential for mild nausea make it less enjoyable. If you’re looking for pure functionality and can overlook the flavor, this might work for you. For me, it’s a mixed bag.

After testing this Vitamin Energy Mood Support shot for several days, I can say it delivers solid results as an energy booster. The tropical berry flavor has a slightly medicinal aftertaste, but it’s tolerable when taken as a quick shot. The energy boost from the 260mg of caffeine lasts about 6 hours without any notable crash, and splitting the bottle into two servings helps manage the intensity. While the mood-enhancing effects from the B-vitamins, Vitamin D, and 5-HTP blend are subtle, they do contribute to a smoother energy experience. Being sugar-free and keto/vegan friendly is a plus, though the inclusion of sucralose might not appeal to everyone. It’s a reliable option when you need sustained focus, even if the mood support aspect isn’t as prominent as advertised.

I tried this out instead of coffee for a week and it does get you going in the morning. Each small bottle contains about the same amount of caffeine as two cups of coffee. I found that drinking the bottle in two servings tamed the initial surge of caffeine.
It’s loaded with B vitamins and natural extracts that are supposed to keep your energy levels up. It seems to work because I felt great every time day I drank it.
Although I like the product a lot, I think the taste could be improved. It has a slight medicinal flavor, but it is still easy to drink it.

When I saw these, I was hoping they would have a good bit of kick to them to keep me going on long road trips. I have stopped at many a gas station to pick up something like this. With these I can pack a few in my cooler and they are much better that way. The flavor is acceptable for these type of energy shots. I never do love them. But so far they seem as effective as I’m used to. And that is a good thing.

The Tropical Berry flavor from this brand is one of the better tasting of the flavors they offer. I’ve tried the Mango and Grape as well, but no matter which one you try you will always have the aftertaste of medicine in your mouth.
The best way to drink this is all at once in my opinion, don’t sip on it.
Also since it is an energy drink, be aware it has as much caffeine as nearly 3 cups of coffee, so plan ahead if you are going to drink it.
The one main thing that most people don’t like to see are products that contain sucralose and unfortunately this product has it as part of the ingredients.

They just taste bad. They’re really bitter. The flavoring doesn’t really help at all- it just tastes like medicine. I prefer the bitter things I can put into my coffee because then i can’t really taste it. The flavoring makes it no bueno for coffee though, so I’m kinda just stuck drinking these in an attempt to use them up. I can’t say they particularly made me MORE energetic, but then again I was able to run errands and do things while my family was all getting sick (and then I got sick today but I was productive). If you’re desperate sure, but I wouldn’t pay for the flavor of these being as gross as they are, even if they work. No jitters. Can’t say I was focused but I have adhd and again I was coming down with something.

This is pretty much an enhanced version of 5h energy, claiming it could last 7h. I don’t know if it actually lasts that long, because I don’t drink the whole bottle at once. The bottle is very small but potent, so I just drink half of it at a time. Half the bottle is already enough to last me a couple hours, and I worry I might get too amped up if I down the whole thing at once. The taste isn’t too great but it really works well.

I waited to try this for when I was crashing out mid-day. Taste is OK, not sweet and a little bitter but not off putting, I didn’t get a sense of tropical, just berry flavor. I didn’t get any jitters from this and lasted quite a while, I still felt somewhat energized after 6 or so hours but I’m not sure about the mood enhancer. Over all, not a bad shot and better than most I’ve had.
