This is a fun way to boost my afternoon with these energy bites versus a plain cup of coffee. Each bite are packed with the equivalent caffeine of one cup. The taste is just fine and I appreciate that it has prebiotic. However, for the price range of under-$20 for 16 bites, it is slightly premium but still comparable to other caffeinated energy bites on the market.

Overall I like these chocolates quite a bit. The milk chocolate has a nice flavor. Sweet, but not too sweet. The size of the pieces is appropriate for a mid afternoon snack. I like the added caffeine as it works perfectly for the mid-afternoon pick-me-up I usually need. You can taste the bitterness of the caffeine just a bit (almost as an aftertaste). I don’t mind it, because normally I prefer dark chocolate. However, if you are someone who only likes very weak chocolate (like Hershey’s) this may be a bit too strong for you. I, however, rather enjoy the flavor.

These come well sealed in its tube container… Not sure if my item is just an aberration cause these suppose be pre cut into individually lil discs and sit atop one another according to listing. This way you know how much serving you are getting. 1 disc equals 1 espresso… Unfortunately my discs were not sliced well cause they are all stuck together… I got one long log. Hard now to even use a knife accurately finding the pre-slice spot. You can semi tell but it is impossible pull apart fingers. If biting off the whole unit in spot think it works best. Suffice to say it is lil tedious each time and makes it less than appetizing share with anyone else.
Other than that the chocolate is very good and have found the energy boost to be useful. They are great for midday sweet craving and for a lil turbo shot.
Note: Weather has been very cold here and these were picked up immediately upon arrival so melting together highly unlikely at least on our end… Docking One Star for this issue….

If you’re looking for a delicious and quick energy boost, you’ll absolutely love these caffeinated milk chocolate energy bites; however, the boost might be somewhat subdued compared to energy drinks or strong coffee, although that could simply be my personal experience.

These chocolates are made by Atelier, a fine chocolatier. The 16 chocolate bites come in a tube that you pull up to dispense. The chocolate is tasty, a bit chewy and then it melts. The caffeine comes on nicely and helps get me into gear if I’m having a bit of an afternoon slump.
Cheaper than a cuppa Joe, these bites are a tasty way to energize your day. Like a cup of coffee only – chocolate! I look forward to trying the dark chocolate and hope the company considers a coffee flavored chocolate, perhaps a dark choco-latte! Well made with sustainable cocoa and other good ingredients.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with these caffeinated milk chocolate energy bites, I’ve never tried anything like this before. They are delicious, I am so pleased!! The milk chocolate discs are all stacked up in one wrapper inside of the case they come in, you just pull up the sticker and open the paper and remove one out at a time. One chocolate is equivalent in caffeine to a cup of expresso, so you are only going to be eating one of these each time, otherwise it could be too much caffeine all at once. The caffeine effect after eating one, is smooth also and pretty quick. Not a choppy or anxious feeling of energy at all, you just start to notice you are feeling more awake than you were a few minutes ago. I think that these are quite nice, I’m very pleased with the taste and feel of the chocolate here, it seems very high quality to me. I would get these again in a heartbeat!!!

These chocolates taste really good, which is a huge bonus. I’m not sure exactly how much I’m feeling the caffeine, but I’ve been eating one when I’m in too much of a rush for a cup of coffee or when I am on the road. If nothing else, they’re a great sweet snack. But I’m sure the kick of caffeine is helping me, too. I also love that they have prebiotics in them and just 45 calories per piece.
These will be great to always keep on hand and also make an awesome stocking stuffer!
