Some of the health claims for pep stick might be valid. They give a bit of an energy boost and have some vitamins and minerals. The ingredients list also looks fairly clean. They can fit a variety of diets, including gluten-free, vegan, and keto.
Even so, I couldn’t get over the taste. It like watermelon, but with a sour edge to it. It’s what I imagine watermelon would taste like if it was going bad. I usually don’t mind if drink mixes aren’t very sweet or don’t have an amazing flavor, but it’s a little difficult for me to convince myself to use the pep sticks. There are just so many other things that I would rather drink, including tap water. Given how much the pep sticks cost and how little I appreciated them, I can’t see how they are worth the money.

Tastes good and gives a nice mid day boost. Delivers exactly what you’re looking for in an easy way. Recommended!

I’ve mostly all but quit caffeine because coffee is too hot for most of the year in my area, and everything else is packed with waaaaay too much caffeine.
This strikes a good balance, and tastes well too. Doesn’t give me jitters or anything, but it’s also enough to feel the effects. It’s a great pick me up as opposed to a shot of anxiety or heart flutters like I’d get from most energy drinks now.
The electrolyte aspect is just an added bonus, especially for someone like me in a hot area where caffeine’s dehydrating properties could be dangerous otherwise.

I was excited to try these electrolyte packs, but I was sadly disappointed.
Where to start? For one, the level of electrolytes in this energizing electrolyte drink is pretty low. My bellwether for electrolyte mixes is the amount of potassium in a serving. This has 170 milligrams, and a banana has around 400 or more. So literally, this has the potassium of less than half a banana. Disappointing. There is 280 mg of sodium, so that makes the sodium to potassium ratio 1.64, which is also rather disappointing. You get the idea.
An electrolyte like this might still be OK if it tasted good, but oh boy, this does not taste good. I can’t exactly describe what it tastes like but one of the things it does not taste like is watermelon. It tastes a little citrusy with some other fruit type flavors mixed in that all mix to something weird. It’s also got a pretty strong after taste that was displeasing and a little bitter. To top it off, the liquid itself is dark foamy yellow-orange. It was a disturbing color to me because it almost looked pre-consumed .
Honestly. The package was brand new, and it comes in dehydrated powder form, but it’s almost as if this was “spoiled.” It just didn’t work out at all.

I was excited to try this as I love watermelon flavored food/beverages items and was somewhat disappointed with the flavor. It doesn’t really taste like watermelon; it reminds me more of the old school Bubble Yum Bubble Gum that I chewed when I was a kid. Aside from the flavor not being all that good the electrolytes seem similar to other drinks that have electrolytes in them.

I have found it hard to stomach the popular brands of electrolyte powders because they taste like you’re straight up drinking salt.
Not this one! The sodium content is much less, and I can tell. It actually tastes really good, I love the watermelon flavor!
I’m very caffeine sensitive, so I was wary of the this containing caffiene. The mixture is just right where I felt like I had boosted energy, but did not get the caffiene jitters & anxiety. Thank goodness!
As other reviewers mentioned, it does get frothy when you shake it in water, but most comparable products do as well and it doesn’t bother me. The photo attached is right after I mixed it.
It also didn’t mix perfectly in just a plastic bottle water, as you can see some sediment on the bottom that would not mix. It might work better in a blender bottle, but I prefer to be able to use these on the go and you don’t always have a blender bottle on hand.
The price is also very comparable to body armor, liquid iv, and lmnt sticks. Pretty much the same price, actually. But this powder seems to be a better balance for my body and tastes good, so that’s a win!

The Yuda Pep Sticks are a great way to rehydrate, replenish electrolytes and get a little energy boost all at once. I’ve been drinking a glass of water, mixed with one pouch for the past few days before I head to the gym for weight training. I get a nice boost of energy, and I feel good knowing I’ve added electrolytes to my body before sweating them all out. The watermelon flavor is pleasant. Just be cautious not to shake this powder with water- I’d recommend stirring the powder into a glass of water because the drink is a bit fizzy and will overflow into a sticky mess if shaken (ask me how I know this😬).

First I’ll say that it doesn’t sink into the drink at first so you will have to push it down and stir which isn’t that big of a deal. It is 0 sugar so you can taste that it isn’t sweet like other powder packets. To me, it tastes like the juice from a watermelon, not that much of an artificial watermelon flavor. If you add more than one packet it can get a little bitter so I would recommend starting with half a packet and putting more in gradually until you get the desired flavor.
