I was so excited to try these! Until I did. The smell of each one was revolting. Similar to dead animal. I tried a bite of each one just to see if I was wrong about them tasting even worse…but unfortunately I was right. The aftertaste is awful. I had to drink some oj just to get the taste out of my mouth. I’ve had many kinds of protein bars before, and these were VERY disappointing! Now I’ve got 6 with one bite out of each, and 6 still in the box (which also has the smell of dead animal). Now I won’t be able to send them back for a refund!

If you’re someone used to protein products the aftertaste shouldn’t bother you. However I could see if you’re not accustomed it’d be bad. Overall the flavor isn’t bad but kind of muted and dry. These as is out of the pack are a five out of ten but microwaving them for a few seconds substantially helps with dryness. I’d give them a six to six and half after heating up. Not awful nor good but they are filling at least.

These are SO good! I love the amount of protein in each one – it holds me over well. I also love that the box had a variety of flavors. My favorites is Churro Tres Leches! They’re soft and chewy and taste like actual dessert.

I bought these with hopes that they would have a decent taste to them and enjoy the benefits of increasing my protein intake. I screwed up buying a box without ever having one. After the first bite, I thought this does not taste right. The second bite I spit out and threw it away. I took the box to work and set by the coffee pot to listen if anyone enjoyed them,,,,, Nope…. They suck. Don’t waste your money like I did.
