It’s DLPA, it was best buy available. It works like it should. DLPA is also block the enkephalinase. This can lead to a relief from certain types of pain. DLPA can also play a big role in producing more opioids naturally within your body, which can also help with pain relief. The packaging is unique and attractive. Very “apothecary” in appearance. We have used this as an OTC pain management tool for nearly 20 years. Works than Acetaminophen in most types of pain without side effects or damage to the liver. Good for certain types of acute and chronic pain. We have found it excellent for endometriosis or fibroid pain. Also good for headaches, back pain and toothaches.

This listing is intentionally misleading. It says 200 count, 660mg, which seems like pretty much the best deal on Amazon…but for some reason there’s no picture of the Supplement Facts. Why is that you might ask? Because they don’t want you to realize that the serving size is TWO capsules.
This means each capsule has only 330mg in it, HALF of what is advertised. The listing would have you believe that you’re getting 660mg capsules for $0.09 each – that is a LIE. The fact is that you’re either getting half of what they claim or paying double the rate they claim they are charging.
DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. It’s one of the worst deals on Amazon for DLPA. Go with a better brand that has a better deal and better advertising practices.

DLPA is a great supplement. L-phenylalanine is one of the essential amino acids that the body can’t make. It is also a precursor to dopamine which plays a huge role in motivation, energy and mood. D-phenylalanine inhibits enzymes which block enkephalins which are endogenous opiods which block pain and increase joy. The Earthborn Elements brand has 200 capsules of 660mg. It seems to be high quality and is quite a bit cheaper than other brands.

Got introduced to dlpa at a vitamin store, went I was having lower back pain from extensive standing. Within 30 minutes the pain was gone! Well, I finally had to get more so, of course, I checked Amazon. Found this, 160mg stronger for half the price! So now for the review…
Pros: works good, cheaper than the store brand, does what it’s supposed to.
Cons: dose is 2 capsules, doesn’t seem to work quite as quick.

Bought this to counteract the withdrawal symptoms from quitting caffeine. Took two in the morning with a full glass of water and felt sustained energy/focus for the whole morning. No crash.
For this amount that you get at this quality and price, it would be hard to beat.
