We have been using this on our diabetic cat since he developed neuropathy in his hind legs. We started off with just 4 drops a day in his food before we got his insulin in the therapeutic range, and have increased it to 1/2 ml. and ordered two more bottles to see if maybe mega-dosing will make a difference. We have just about gone through two bottles so far, and have seen some improvement, but he is still walking on his hocks. I have seen different reviews stating that the dose should be anything from 4 drops up to 1 ml. which is the human dose. We want to give this every chance of success, and realized that there was no way to be sure he got a full dose due to the fact that he doesn’t always eat the whole amount that we serve him. 1/2 ml seemed like a good way to make sure he got some in him, so we decided to go full bore. He has been in range glucose wise for a couple of months now, so if I see a full recovery before these next two bottles are gone, I will change my rating to 5 stars, and update this review with the good news.

We have a 23 YO one-eyed Warrior Diva cat, whom we love dearly. We stopped dragging her to the vet 6 years ago when her kidney disease was so bad they vet said she’d be lucky to live another year. Each winter we d.r.a.g. her through, and each spring so far she casts that one eye on the birds she used to terrify and lies in the sun with her happy memories. Even last summer, she was still jumping up on counters. But last month, I got lazy and gave her too much dry food (very high quality…but still dry food) compared to her usual 90% wet diet and, sure enough, she started losing hip stability and walking back on her hocks, lost her appetite, and even started throwing up…all signs I’d thrown her metabolism into disarray and brought on some diabetic neuropathy. Been there before with another old cat, so I immediately got her back on her FROMM wet food only and started her on this. Four days into three drops a day, she circled the counter this morning while considering attempting a jump 😉 and, most importantly, she’s eating well again and much perkier. Won’t last forever, but sure is a great adjunct for the old girl.

This works for me very well. I take b-12 injections on a twice monthly basis for a health problem, but these drops help in the time between when I am crashing so hard I can barely keep my eyes open.
I only gave the supplement four stars because the flavor is a bit nasty tasting. Not so bad I can’t take it thankfully because I am one of those hardcore gaggers when something foul touches her tongue.
This works best out of the other brands and pills I have tried so I am sticking with this brand for as long as they continue to sell it! I feel a boost from the drops within half an hour and it lasts for several hours. The bottle is small enough to carry in my purse to take with me which is a bonus. I am not always home when extreme lethargy washes over me.

We have a 10 year old cat, they we suspected was just getting fat, as we free fed her and after time, she was having a very hard time walking. She could not jump, and was beginning to drag her back legs and walk on her hoks. The vet told us she had Diabetes and had diabetic neuropathy, and that she may never get better at walking and jumping. We started her on a strict protein prescription diet and regulated her eating times to twice day. My wife did some research and found that B12 can help in these issues. We bought this product and it almost starting working immediately. After two months my cat is jumping everywhere, running faster than she did as a kitten and so happy. She plays with our other cat, is a million times more social, and seems cured. This stuff is a miracle. If you have a cat with diabetic neuropathy, this product all but cured our cat.

It’s easy-to-take, the taste is simply cherry-it doesn’t taste like medicine, nor does it leave an after-taste as stated in other reviews..nonetheless it’s only a dropperfull a day! My results include: A better memory and concentration, more motivation and less laziness, as well as a reduction in stress. I’ve recommended this to family and friends who are experiencing similar results.

Make sure your choose a sublingual form of B12.
This is perhaps the most important consideration when choosing a b12 supplement. While regular supplements such as your multi-vitamin or b-complex vitamins might have plenty of b12, this particular vitamin is poorly absorbed by the stomach and the intestine. While it will still do some good, swallowing Vitamin B12 in pill form is not optimal.
On the other hand, when a sublingual B12 is placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve- the B12 enters the blood stream directly through the blood vessels on the lining under the tongue. This is a much more effective way to raise B12 levels in the body.
Why “Methyl” Vitamin B12 is more effective.
There are primarily two different ingredients being used in sublingual b12 supplements. They are cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin. The cheapest and most common option for use in supplements is cyanocobalamin. Although cyanocobalamin is a good option, the best products on the market are now using methylcobalamin as the primary ingredient. The reason for this is that the liver must convert cyanocobalamin to methylcobalamin before the body can utilize it.
Methyl B12 supplements contain the most bioavailable and active form of B-12. Since it requires no conversion by the liver, it is in a form ready to be used by the body. Expect to pay more for Methyl B12, but the increased effectivness will make it worth the cost.

Easy to swallow, decent flavor. I count on Douglas Laboratories for purity and natural supplements. This one doesn’t disappoint. True, it’s more expensive than other brands but for some reason our DNA type won’t absorb this vitamin unless it is from natural sources. It was prescribed by our doctor to reduce anxiety and balance low levels of this important mineral.
