I love that there is one ingredient in this package and it is whole eggs. And they are powdered and filled to the very top of the bag. I have not tried just cooking them up as eggs because that was not my intention with this. But I have used them as an egg replacement in baked goods. I first tried it as an egg replacement in a waffle mixture I was making, and the waffles came out so light and fluffy. It’s a little challenging to figure out how much to use because it’s two parts powder to three parts water but what amount equals one egg? I took an estimate and mixed up enough that it would look like the amount of an egg. Super convenient for when you don’t have fresh eggs on hand, or don’t want to use them for baking.

TALCUFON Egg Powder 8Oz, Just Egg Ingredient, No Additives, Homogenized, Pasteurized, Gluten-Free Great for Baking and Cooking 227G
First impressions: Nice resealable pouch full of powdered eggs. The eggs are a fine powder and are ready to use. There is little to no smell.
Installation/setup: Use as directed to reconstitute and use as eggs in your recipes.
Final thoughts: I used this as eggs in my dinner roll recipe for Thanksgiving. The rolls were as I have always made them, and I’ve always used fresh eggs. They were fluffy and rose well, my family never knew the difference. I like this and I’m glad I got it.

Texture is a little off, typo on the package makes me a little suspicious about the quality. Taste isn’t bad.

I just started baking and discovered this powdered form of eggs. It’s easy to use compared to regular eggs, creates less mess, and is more accurate for baking. The results are especially better. I can leave it out and easily take it to friends

Powdered eggs sure have come a long way since my navy days. Where those had more of a batter texture this mixed as directed cooked up light and fluffy. I figured I’d be using this mostly to add to recipes but it is good enough to eat by itself as scrambled eggs since the only ingredient is egg, it has a nice egg flavor with no off aftertastes or odd textures.

Used this powder to make a loaf of banana bread and it came out looking and tasting fine. Couldn’t tell any difference between using real eggs and this powder.
After mixing with water and seeing the consistency, I don’t think I’d ever use these as a pure egg replacement – meaning these probably wouldn’t work well for a scrabble or omelet. The consistency is obviously wrong. However, for an alternative to use in mix and/or binder in recipes it works fine.
I do have some concerns regarding one of the companies listed on packaging. Doing some research I found the KyleParrino address is a single family home (?) with no business connections and/or business listing that I can discern. Additionally, the address on packaging comes up as a “previous address” for a Kyle Parrino.
Conversely, the Talcufon company which is based in China is registered via the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the category of Meats and Processed Food Products with a US address [“The legal correspondent for TALCUFON trademark is WILLY H. WONG MINDER LAW GROUP, 1043 GARLAND AVE. UNIT C #626, SAN JOSE, CA 95126 UNITED STATES.”] and it does sell various products on various platforms apparently without issue.
Given that I and others are still alive and well after eating, it appears safe to use, and I will continue to use the rest of the package. However, because of the open questions I have concerning the business regarding “Kyleparrino” I can’t in all good conscience, fully recommend.
