These little convenient bottles of energy are great for an on-the-go pick me up. I keep these chilled in the fridge and grab one for the road in the morning after a quick small breakfast and they keep me going from 8am to about 1pm. Do they give me the full 7 hours of energy? No, BUT I’m a big caffeine guy so my tolerance is pretty high so I really didn’t expect that much from the 260mg. 260mg is great if your caffeine tolerance is low, I let my sister take one and she was wired all day at school! She’s a teacher so she needs as much alertness as she can get! ha!
Two things I learned after drinking these, 1. They taste so much better chilled. The orange burst stated on the bottle is right on the money with the citrus taste. 2. With a small breakfast of some toast and boiled egg, this eliminated the upset stomach feeling the first day I took it with no food. The queasy feeling I had was similar to taking a vitamin C/Zinc supplement with no food.

I love energy shots in general. I am known to pack an energy shot in my backpack when I go on a day hike for when I need an extra boost.
Energy shots in general usually don’t taste that great. I drink them for the energy, not the taste. These Vitamin Energy shots in the Orange Burst flavor taste a little sour, but not too bad. Still, I would take it like a shot and not savor it for the taste.
The Vitamin Energy shots contain a whopping 260 mg of caffeine per serving. That’s a lot of caffeine packed in such a little bottle, and is more that you will find in most of the competing energy shot brands. People metabolize caffeine differently, so you need to determine how much caffeine is appropriate for you. Personally, I don’t feel that more is necessarily better. As much as I like caffeine, I try to limit my daily consumption to 400 mg per day. I don’t have problems with jitters, but I am concerned about the long term effects of excess caffeine on bone health.
These energy shots also contain B vitamins (100% RDA for Niacin, B6, and B12), which you see a lot in energy shots. They also contain L-Carnitine Tartrate, which is more typically found in a pre-workout product.
It is really not clear to me which ingredients in this supplement support the immune system (maybe the B vitamins?) , gut health (maybe the Green Tea Extract?), or both. I would love it if the seller would clarify this on the packaging and in the product description.
These energy shots are sweetened with Sucralose.

I have to start by saying that these little “shot” bottles contain ALOT of caffeine. That said, they work perfectly for me. I didn’t have any jitteriness or any other weird side effects. I’m a bigger guy who is used to a lot of caffeine to keep me going throughout the day. If you are not used to a high caffeine daily intake, start with a half shot. I let my wife try one when she said that she needed some energy. Took one whole shot and she was on a good one for a few hours.
These taste good BUT better chilled. The citrus taste is not overwhelming but it is there. These are also packed with the daily amount of vitamins, which is great.
The value for the amount of product that you get is GREAT compared to other brands out there. I can definitely recommend this product and would have no problems purchasing more in the future.

These energy drink shots may give you a burst of energy from the caffeine, but they taste so awful that I can’t drink more than a sip at a time. I typically drink coffee or energy drinks for caffeine, so perhaps this is just the nature of energy shots compared to other forms of caffeine. Regardless, I do not recommend these energy shots unless you think you can tolerate the strong taste.

So it’s always kind of hard to determine how successful these types of shots are since so many favors go into feeling energized throughout the day. That being said, I’ve been downing these before long workouts, especially runs, and have had pretty good luck feeling alert afterwards. So make of that what you will! I’ll also say that the taste is about as pleasant as to be expected: Very potent, not exactly “natural” tasting, but easy enough to chug really quickly.

I haven’t really ever tried a energy drink before, so I thougth it might be worth a shot to get me going after the holidays. I usually get pretty ho hum until spring after the Christmas season, so I thought this might be an interesting way to get some vitamins, help with staving off winter colds, and get me though the work day. In short, that is 100% how it’s been working out so far.
My first one was a bit rough. I had a stomach ache a few hours after drinking it, or I should say, forcing it down. I did not like the taste. I came to see if any other reviewers mentioned these things, and someone mentioned that chilling them improves the taste. I can confirm that is the case for me. Chilled it’s a good bit better tasting and I have no issues just chugging it in a couple of gulps. I usually do so right after a breakfast of eggs and sausage. My second one gave me only slight stomach discomfort, and since then, no issues.
I can tell there’s a big improvement in my energy and focus. I usually drink a fair amount of caffeine so I don’t get any jitters or drop offs at the end of the day, just a gradual decline as the day comes to an end. I think these are great though they are a little expensive.
