These are superb tasting energy bars and also come in a variety of flavors in a single package so it’s hard to get sick of them. All of the flavors fortunately do not have any unpleasant chalky protein-esque taste that is all too common in many protein bars. They are just a bit denser than your usual candy bar. Between the birthday cake, snickerdoodle, banana bread and marshmallow the snickerdoodle, marshmallow and banana bread were my favorites. the birthday day flavor bordered on just a hair too artificial tasting for me but I am generally not a fan of birthday cake flavors. The other three were fantastic. And post workout these provide an excellent source of protein and not at all feel like you’re consuming them for the sake of getting some protein in, they really do feel like a nice treat with how good they taste.

These bars are about the size of a packaged Rice Crispies Treat, so a decent sizze. I love the little “protien puffs”- they are the size of those little round candy sprinkles people put on cakes or cookies, but these are made of mostly whey protien and tapioca. Thry are mainly held together with an egg white, vanilla and sugar- not TOO much sugar, they only have 17 g of carbs total- and each of the four flavors have different ingredients to give them their flavors- Birthday Cake,Banana Bread, Snickerdoodle, or Mint Chocolate. You get 3 of each flavor in a box, each individually wrapped, for lunches or carry along snacks. Kids and adults alike will love these. My favorite feature is bitting into the little balls, it’s a fun and different texture! I’d prefer this to those overly-chewy, sticky and sugary granola bars.
The only thing I don’t love about these? They are expensive! 12 bars cost $35.99! I don’t buy any snack that costs $3.00! I think they are going to need to go down in price somehow to get mainstream popular. The box they come in is a thin unbleached cardboard, which still might be good in a store with abolder print. The nutitional info for each flavor is on the back of the box.
Bring down the price and I’d probably get these again!

As the headline says, it seemed to suck up all the moisture in my mouth, requiring that I drink something with it. I eat dry pretzels and crackers, but those dont dry my mouth the way these do. The flavor I tried was the chocolate mint. These are low calorie, and I think that’s why the chocolate flavor was muted, it doesn’t have a lot of added sugar. The mint flavor came thru quite well. They are made with all the good stuff that the supermarket bars don’t have. For that reason, these are not snack bars, something you would eat as a sweet snack or as a dessert. These are protein bars for those that are concerned with their health and are careful of what they eat. For those people, these bars might fit within your dietary needs.

This is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review. However, I feel horrible that I spent $35 on this. It tastes terrible. I could barely choke one down. Pretty much tastes like eating chalk. Don’t be fooled that it is like a Rice Krispy treat.

I didn’t love these. The texture was different in each flavor. The snickerdoodle was the only one that I liked. The chocolate was too hard.

I have enjoyed these protein bars. I don’t know if I would use the phrase “marshmallow crispy treats” to describe them, though. They look similar to such a treat, but the resemblance ends there. They are pretty dry, and they don’t have that nice marshmallow gooeyness that rice crispy treats tend to have. The whey protein puffs also have a grainier texture and are less airy than puffed rice. I don’t really mind any of this (apart from the dryness), but if you think you are getting something really similar to a rice crispy treat, you might be disappointed.
The pack I ordered came with three each of four different flavors: birthday cake, mint chocolate, banana bread, and snickerdoodle. Each was roughly a 2″ to 2.25″ square. They look just like the photos in the listing, so there were no surprises there. Although, I would point out that the banana bread is a chocolate banana bread flavor.
Unlike some other reviewers, I didn’t find these to taste overly sweet. According to my box, the birthday cake flavor contains 6 grams of sugar while the other three flavors each contain 5 grams of sugar. Unsurprisingly, the birthday cake bar tasted the sweetest to me—but it still wasn’t incredibly sweet—and the other three bars were just barely sweet in taste.
All of the flavors were good and tasted as you might expect. The mint chocolate was somewhat reminiscent of a Thin Mint cookie in its flavor profile. The banana bread had a good banana flavor that tasted natural to me, but it also contained some banana bits that were chewy and might be off-putting to some. Snickerdoodle tasted the least sweet to me, and while I enjoyed it, it probably was my least favorite of the four flavors. It was a little bland, and I just thought the other three bars were more flavorful.
While they are pricy and definitely have a dry texture—seriously, have some water nearby—I enjoyed the bars and found them to be filling. It can be hard to find a lower calorie protein bar with a decent amount of protein, but they’ve packed 15 grams of protein into a bar that is only 150 calories. I also like that each bar has the same number of calories and comparable nutrition.

I loved these. I have a sweet tooth, and these hit the spot every time while allowing me to hit my daily macros. These are basically the same texture and taste as healthy rice crispy treats. My favorite flavors were definitely a tie between the birthday cake, and snickerdoodle. My only complaint is that these are a little pricey per unit. But, I think if you’re looking for a easy to track unique snack it is worth it.
