I started taking this in place of pure psyllium husk fiber and didn’t notice any benefit. I can also take the psyllium husk once a day for better results versus these pills which are supposed to be taken both morning and evening. Yes, swallowing a few pills is easier than mixing the fiber powder with water, waiting for it to gel, and then drinking it down, but without any noticeable benefits, I’ll stick with the cheaper fiber powder.

I bought this for my wife, and it works great! She can have a sensitive stomach, so she was pleased it did not bother her and worked well. She is really happy with the results and would buy this again.

Guttbutt colon cleanse fiber supplement comes in a plastic bottle with a plastic tamper seal in the lid and a thin foam seal on the bottle and included a silicate pack inside the bottle. The pills are pretty standard supplement sized with the outer vegetable cellulose capsules having very little flavor or scent.
For gel capsules, these pills are decent to swallow and do not come apart the moment they are introduced to fluids. Pulled apart, the blend is a finer powder that has a hint of fennel and cardamom to taste and scent and does slightly gel in water like most mix in fiber mixes.
Dowsing recommendations are high, stating to take 3 capsules with 16oz of water, twice a day but does not state for how long to take such doses or what this product desired results are. Is this product aimed more to the cleanse as the higher dosage suggests or to the fiber supplement aspect as the text on the front of the bottle is twice as large as the cleansing text? Without reading the product details on the sellers page, it would be hard to tell.
These ‘Gut Spa’ pills, as the seller calls them in the detailed description are priced at $29.99 at the time of this review for 40 pills, which is only 13 doses with an extra pill, 6.5 days of continuous use of following instructions. I find this product a little expensive at about $2.25 a dose for a product that does not seem to be more effective than other colon cleansing blends tried in the past.

These have no odors or odd tastes, and I can swallow them easily, so happy with that. But the price is rather high for what you get. I’ll not likely reorder these.

I’m a 29 year old vers guy. I’ve never believed that supplements like these work – it looks like it’s all just marketing hype and suspect companies trying to rainbow capitalize their way into an underserved audience. I tried pure but it left a gelly residue and was NOT ideal. So, I just stuck to the normal things and didn’t think much of it.
But, then I saw these guys at Denver Pride last summer. They were really nice and knowledgable and seemed like they were coming from a good place. So I bought a bottle, and man! I’ve been on it for the past 6 months and have seen a world of difference. It feels like my whole digestive system just flows solidly and smoothly everyday. I still use the bulb sometimes just to be sure, but when I’ve been in not so convenient hot situations, the pills haven’t let me down and baby I’m a believer. 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Cardamom, fennel seed, psyllium husk; like a potion mixed by a deranged alchemist. But the results? Unquestionable. It was the purge, the cleansing, the return to a state of – dare I say – purity? And what is more terrifying than being confronted with your own existence, stripped bare? Five stars for this unsettling internal revolution.
