A lot of comments about the flavor had me hesitant to try this. But it’s truly not bad, it’s more of a fizz with a hint of lemon at the end than a flavor. If you need to make it sweeter to make it more palatable, a teaspoon of sugar will do it. But if you’re not wanting to add extra sweetness, it’s not the worst on its own. Still not something I’d drink for fun, but hey, it has a job to do!

After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant to get this. The taste isn’t bad at all! I drink mine with 12-14 Oz of cold ice water and just shake it right away. I also shake it before I take sips. I have noticed it has helped with towel movements, energy, sleep and hydration. Love this stuff! Highly recommend for pregnant woman! This is my second bag.

This product doesn’t have the best taste. However, it is easier for me to get down than swallowing pill form prenatals. I have been really nauseous and unable to swallow pills. I tried gummies but they have a lot of sugar in them, and I don’t like the texture. I am able to add Root’d to 4oz of cold bottled water and drink it. I shake the bottle really well to dilute. The stronger the flavor, the easier it is to drink. It does give me energy in the morning and helps my nausea to subside. I’m 13 weeks pregnant as of yesterday and have been taking this for the past 23 days. I’m ordering more today since I only have one more pack. I’d rather take something like this that has beneficial and effective vitamins and minerals in a powder form than swallow a pill that takes time to break down in my gut. I like how there’s beetroot in this product. It’s great for your circulation, blood, and heart while pregnant. I was told by naturalists to drink beetroot juice while pregnant and that stuff tastes horrible! At least this packet tastes a little better than the juice and I can keep it down.

My other whole food vitamins have been making me so sick…. I’ve been struggling to get the nutrients my baby and I need. I ordered these because they are derived from Whole Foods, they are a powder for water which is one of the few things I can drink… and the value is right there compared to other food derived prenatals. So far I love them and I’m happy to report for the first time my whole pregnancy I’m finally getting my full dose of prenatals. I’ll update if I need to but I’m very happy with the product, also amazing had this from my phone to my door in less than 5 hours…. 🙂

Liked the idea of this but unfortunately I have to now buy a different prenatal since this one was not for me. I’ve tried it for a week and a half now and started at the lowest amount suggested of 4 oz of water and mixed it today with 60 oz of water and it is still way too sweet and artificial tasting for me. Granted I am nauseous from pregnancy but my symptoms have been considerably worse since starting this. I wish they made smaller trial sizes for you to try instead of spending the money and committing for the larger package because now I have no use for these and have wasted my money.

This tasted really gross and honestly made me kinda nauseous. I appreciate it had all of the vitamins that was necessary, but I couldn’t stomach it personally.

I bought this because I was in my first trimester with twins and really needed to bulk up on vitamins and minerals. I think the taste said it was like berry it did not taste like berry it was very hard to swallow and upset my stomach after the first couple sips. The actual taste was very chemical like or mineral tasting and was fizzy, overall if the taste would have been stronger and more sour like it would have been amazing for nausea while also being packed with essentials for the first trimester. Definitely room for improvements I was not impressed with flavor but the individual packaging of each portion was amazing!

I’m currently in my first trimester and have been experiencing horrible nausea and dizziness. I was struggling to swallow vitamins and stay hydrated so this seemed like a great idea!
I honestly wish they were less expensive but I know you get what you pay for, and honestly they really are fairly priced for what’s included compared to high quality vitamins I have purchased before. Plus it’s a comprehensive prenatal vitamin “system” so I was happy to get electrolytes and probiotics too!
The vitamin quality is great with all the right types of vitamins and also probiotics which was a huge plus for that pregnancy bloating and constipation.
The flavor was not bad, I actually like it. It tastes similar to a nunn tab and if you are used to electrolyte and vitamin additives you’ll probably like it. It has a slight fizz which I could take or leave; I usually prefer no fizz, but this wasn’t very strong at all. I definitely recommend adding to ice!!! In room temperature water you can taste the saltiness of the electrolytes and with morning sickness that can be off putting.
The only thing I really I really hated which is why I deducted a star is the grainy vitamin texture left in the bottom of my cup. I have to constantly stir it up or suck up this sandy vitamin “dust” that’s slightly bitter and has that distinct vitamin flavor. Ick!!! It didn’t taste good when you have bad morning sickness! But, just keep stirring and you should be fine. I’m also leery of the natural flavors, which could be a proprietary blend of chemicals….. I wish companies would stop using bad additives like that that do not disclose what those ingredients are; especially when all the other ingredients are so great!
More flavors would be awesome too!
PROS: vitamin quality and quantity, taste, easy to use and portable, a full prenatal vitamin “system”, keeps you hydrated at the same time
CONS: grainy Vitamin texture in the bottom of your cup, fizziness is “meh”, natural flavors as an additive
