We love Nordic Naturals vitamins and have used them for years. I particularly appreciate these Nordic Naturals Men’s Vitamin One Daily for my husband. We prefer the one-a-day vitamin approach; in our busy lives it can be hard to remember to take vitamins more than once daily. But in these Men’s Vitamin One Daily, everything a man would want, vitamin-wise, in one daily tablet.
This daily vitamin includes easily absorbed (or bioavailable, as Nordic Naturals would say) the following vitamins, minerals, and herbs (I’m listing them in the percentage included of the recommended daily allowances): 100% of RDA of vitamins A, C, D3, E, niacin, folate, zinc, selenium, chromium, and molybdenum; 142% of thiamin’s RDA; 138% RDA of riboflavin; 265% of B6, 250% of biotin, and 4167% of the RDA of B12; and 200% of the RDA for pantothenic acid. In the mineral category, you’ll find 9% of the RDA of calcium, 3% of iron’s RDA, 50% of the RDA of iodine, 33% of copper’s RDA, and 43% of the RDA of manganese. This men’s daily also includes 90 mcg of vitamin K2. Plus, there are extra supplements of boron, vanadium, saw palmetto extract, and stinging nettle extract.
Now. That’s all a mouthful! What this list really means is that this particular vitamin contains 100% of many vitamins, but doesn’t exceed 100% in vitamins like A and E, where taking more than one hundred percent can prove toxic. You’ll notice that a number of the water-soluble B vitamins (like B12, B6, and biotin, for example) contain much more than the daily RDA. I read a NIH statistic that said that B12 in particular can be more difficult to absorb as one ages, or if a person is on certain medications. I imagine that is why this men’s daily has extra of those (though of course, I’m only speculating as a consumer). In our family, we do take extras of vitamin Bs already so this just saves my husband a step by including it in his multivitamin. I’m grateful for anything that makes life easier, so I appreciate this!
The only potential downside for us personally is that this vitamin is in a tablet form instead of a capsule (which seems to be the shape of most of our vitamins). However, we have a pill cutter so we just use that, when necessary, to make our tablets easier to swallow.
We love Nordic Natural’s vitamins, which include everything we value in a vitamin; and, most important, that our bodies can absorb and use well. Combined with a healthy diet, these make us feel that we’re getting everything nutritionally that we need and want.

This is a great multivitamin, and one of the few I’ve found that is truly “low dose”. In general, all of the vitamins are present in 50-250% daily value amounts. I consider this a good therapeutic range, and anything that gets into 500%+ is overkill.
The forms of vitamins used are excellent. The vitamin K is MK-7, zinc is bisglycinate, Quatrefolic for folate, etc. It’s much higher quality forms of vitamins than budget multivitamins contain.
In my opinion, this formulation could do without the saw palmetto, stinging nettle, and copper. There are no “special” ingredients that promote overall health, and this is really just a basic vitamin and mineral supplement.
That being said, the formulation is great and this is a good baseline vitamin and mineral supplement to prevent deficiencies.

My first time taking vitamin so its nig and the smell is hard to take for me but i try. Its been four days now and i can feel my stomach has gas and it feel like im full. Plus i feel like i po*p more than i eat😂. Are these normal? And how long does it takes for my stomach to get used to it?

I make sure all my supplements are from Nordic Naturals. I think they are a highly quality. Their values are reasonable and not the “super dosages” you see from a lot of other products.

I buy the men’s multi because it has a small amount of copper and the women’s multi doesn’t have copper listed at all last I checked.

Nordic Naturals is name I trust because they are a very transparent and reliable fish oil supplement company. From my search for a single source of affordable and quality fish oil, I found Nordic Naturals and have been using it for some time. They have 3rd party test results for every product they sell, which is fantastic. Just go to their website’s Certificate of Analysis page and plug in their lot number, which is the 8-digit number printed above the expiration date for this product.
This is only a 30-day supply but consists only of a single capsule measuring about 7/8″ and comes with nearly every essential vitamin for most men. I highly recommend for someone looking to upgrade their low quality men’s multivitamin without any actual verified testing behind their product.
