I purchased these to balance a hormonal issue I started to have. Read: wonky cycles. I have always been regular, like clockwork and knew exactly what to expect and when. Then, suddenly, over the course of a few months, things started changing. Unpredictable starts and stops, insanely painful cramps, periods of varying lengths, moodiness like I’d never experienced before, migraines, skin breakouts (never had acne in adolescence), extreme hair fallout with obvious thinning, demoralizing weight gain (that would not budge no matter how hard I worked), and random super heavy flows. Not like a “what-the-gush” type of deal you get used to from time to time, but more like someone turned on the faucet, OMG I need a change of pants….ooookay, never mind, I’m dying.
After my GYN assured me that I was perfectly healthy and my cycles are within the range of what’s normal (for a female elephant, I’m assuming- didn’t think to ask at the time), and refused to do a hormone work up, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
A few weeks of research, another scary cycle (for good measure), and a nearly frantic order later, I’m swallowing these things every morning without fail.
The difference has been life changing. First, I am back to my normal, stable moods. My kids are grateful. My cycles are predictable again with no more scary water hose moments. No more cramps (I never had them before the episodes started, so if you have always had cramps, no guarantee that they will stop), my hair stopped falling out, the weight started to come off, no more visits to a bumpy adolescence I never lived, and no more migraines…well fewer, and much less intense.
Since then, I’ve added other hormone balancing herbs to my daily regiment and I am one happy lady!
One downside is that the last couple of bottles I received smelled like musty toes when I opened them. Everything is still humming along beautifully so I just deal with the odor. I have Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome that has come with decades of hormonal issues. Some of the worst symptoms are related to the reproductive hormones being so far out of whack. I tried a Chasteberry extract from another brand for a couple of months and saw zero changes. The brand was vague on how many milligrams were included and what else it contained because it was a “proprietary blend” but the reviews were great so went ahead with it. I decided to give this one a try since it also had great reviews but mostly because I could see what was in it. Within a couple of weeks, I started noticing small things were improving. The brain fog was rare instead of constant. I was not retaining water near as much. The extreme sadness and feeling defeated all the time started to ease up. Headaches were occasional instead of daily. A little weight was coming off here and there – nothing mind-boggling but a pound or two a week became normal. It took a little while for me to realize it was related back to this product but now that I have figured it out this will be a necessity in my life. I am taking a little more than the suggested dose now. I take two in the morning and one in the evening. For me, it seems like that is a “sweet spot” where I am happy with the gradual results. I have recommended this product to several people and am thankful it is at an affordable price.

I took this from 3dpo till about 10 or 11 dpo. I did not have any spotting and I am now 15dpo in the morning time with no af still. I am happy because I have a progesterone defect which this supplement has fixed. I ovulate just fine but it’s weak according to blood tests and thus low progesterone. And I track my cycles so know what day I am on. I hope this can help others ovulate and get back on track with their cycles and assist in progesterone production. I expect to start af today. I will update on actual start date. FX for those ttcing. And always remember to check with your doctor first before adding anything to your med regime.
