This liquid castor oil supplement is easy to take as directed, but I am not a big fan of the taste or texture. I think your mileage will vary but otherwise, I haven’t had any bad side effects or any other unpleasant results from taking it.

We have read lots about the topical benefits of castor oil on your body and decided to give this one a try because it is organic and packed with lots of other great herbs! This oil comes in a glass bottle so it is quite heavy. The smell is different from pure castor oil because of all the extras added in but it’s not unpleasant or anything. My skin always feels nice and soft after removing the castor oil pack. One thing to note is that if you choose to use the oil topically, that is how you will smell too!
If you decide to drink it, know that this is a laxative! I would recommend you spend some time at home to gauge how your body will react to the castor oil. Donʻt put yourself in an embarrassing situation that could have been avoided!
Overall, this castor oil is great and packed with lots of extra nutrients. It has worked well for me topically and internally but it does take some time for you to “get to know it”. 🙂

It’s expensive because of its amazing quality! This is an incredible oil, so rich, so thick, so healing! It’s unlike any other oil I’ve ever tried. You can see the greens in it. You can see the little particles of all the wonderful herbs within it. Every time I use it on my skin, it’s so soft afterwards. I have not drank it yet; I need to research that more, but I love using it on my skin. It is so rich and wholesome and feels so holistic and healing. I’m very careful dispensing mere drops of it, because a little bit goes a long way.
I love that it’s in a GLASS bottle, instead of plastic! The bottle is dark colored, to preserve the contents and protect them from lights. The pump works well, but it took me a long time to open it up. The bottle came very well packaged in a thick, hard cardboard box.
I would have loved to have a glass dropper. I feel a bit conflicted about using the plastic pump. With all that goodness in the bottle, I feel almost guilty having plastic touch it. On the other hand, having that precision pump insures that I don’t accidentally lose any of this precious oil.

It’s never fun to swallow a teaspoon of oil. As far as oil goes though, this doesn’t taste especially bad. Three pumps is a teaspoon. When I drink it, I have juice ready to chase it down as quickly as possible. It really isn’t a taste, it’s just the drinking of oil that is yucky.
I got this because I am doing a thorough juice cleanse and it was recommended to add some sort of an oil. This is perfect since it is made in the USA with pure organic ingredients and additional healthy herbs that support gut health. Cold pressed is very important to me because I believe in eating foods in their raw form (not heated above 116° ), so as not to destroy the enzymes in them. The combination of everything in this oil is amazing, and is not easy to find!
So far I have noticed a difference in bowel movements. There is not only considerably more, but elimination is very quick. Gross topic, but an important part of detox nonetheless! I believe this product is outstanding and beneficial for anyone doing a detox I just want to improve their gut health, which is said to be everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you’re new to castor oil and no one has told you what to expect, I’ll tell you. Castor oil is a laxative. Unless and until you know for sure how it will effect you I’d advise taking this the night before a day when you don’t need to leave the house. How powerful a laxative effect it has is a delicate balance between how much a person takes and how sensitive their digestive system is. This castor oil is blended with all manner of herbs and you can thank them for its natural odor and earthy taste. But who expects a laxative to taste good, right? Pretty much guaranteed to provide “the relief you seek”. As for using it topically, well, it’s mainly oil so it will definitely moisturize your skin but you will also definitely smell very, um… natural.
