I am currently struggling with mold toxicity. Long story short bought a 3 year old home with hidden water issues and damage as well as high radon levels. After about 9 months i started feeling “off”. Not my norm. It progressed as months went on only to discover the water damage and hidden mold in floorboards and hvac unit. As that was not enough of a blow i was urged to get a radon level test though i should have at closing and to my surprise super elevated levels. So on top of mycotoxins from mold and now radon and to throw in the mix chemicals and pesticides. Plastics emissions and exhaust fumes and sugars just to name a few my body was super taxed. Now i have used many things to support my recovery. I refuse to allow this to “win” and many things worked well. What works for me may not for others however so i can only give my honest review.
I used clay in the past for facial and foot soaks and i like the results. Never though could i build up the guts to mix and drink a glass of clay water. It was too chalky and didn’t look edible. I came across this liquid Great Plains bentonite and said hey why the hell not! I have heard of celebrities taking this and some well known doctors. Couldn’t hurt. I needed some type of binder to help me PULL this bad junk out with a little stick and push! I have had a terrible time with dreaded die off reactions. I had heard that bentonite could affectively help with binding to the toxins and helping you excrete them. So this is my 4th day and i only took half the recommenced dose to be on the safe side and i will have to say yesterday and also all day today i have not suffered any detox reactions as i had battled for months. Truly there is no way this cannot help your detox and wellness. Scientifically it binds to toxins. Makes perfect sense. I was just not able to do that for myself effectively. I felt different the last 2 days. And i am surely in tune with my body. I definitely recommend it to anyone wanted to help bind the crap they are trying to loosen in the first place. No taste whatsoever. No aftertaste. Little chalky as expected but NOT anything to discredit it. I will Continue to drink a glass daily and hopefully lessen my toxic burden quicker and smoother! I ingested something toxic that made me very ill. Along with that, I’ve been using Synthroid for 35 years, which is a synthetic drug for my thyroid issues. Sadly, our bodies are not geared to eliminate synthetic wastes. One can image how much it has been clogging up my system after 35 years of use. I used Bentonite and within two-three days, I broke out in a rash near the throat area and soon after, I felt so much better. The rash lasted for a week or two, which the Bentonite absorbed the toxins and then pushed it through my body. One thing I’ve learned about health issues, if one gets a rash, do not use medical creams to clear it up – the rash exists so the toxins can exit our body. Creams will close up the rash and keep the toxins in. I aided the detox process by taking hot baths using Epsom salt and baking soda, which helped up off the toxins. You cannot believe how clean one’s skin feels after this bath. (It is noted a fact that 80% of body eliminations occurs through the skin.)
Whenever I eat junk food (foods with preservatives in it), which I have eliminated 95% of it from my diet, I drink my Bentonite, and after, I always feel cleaner and healthier.
As for my thyroid medication, I no longer use Synthroid but use Armour, which is a natural medication made from pig thyroid, which is close to human thyroid. If you have a thyroid issue, the best book I ever read, one that changed my life and health is a book written by Mary J. Shomon, “Living Well with Hypothyroidism: What Your Doctor Doesn’t Tell You… That You Need to Know” (Revised Edition). This was a life-altering book for me. I am so much healthier, free from body pain, and have a more positive outlook in life. Warning, if you go to your doctor asking for Armour before reading this book, he/she will talk you out of it. Please read the book.

It is clay from the earth. Great for internal detoxification and external uses too. Very high grade and this is not often the case in all bentonite products. Safe!
