I have been taking berberine to assist in my weight loss journey, and I swear it makes a difference. I love that this blend is organic. I thought that you needed 1500 mg berberine to be effective, and this blend only has 1200 mg per serving, but I like the addition of bitter melon, cinnamon and green tea. The pills are certainly big enough. I have no problem taking them and I haven’t had any negative effects. The price is pretty decent for a two month supply.

I appreciate that this supplement uses 100% Organic ingredients! I experienced no adverse reactions to this supplement and it worked as intended!
The capsules were small and I could tell the ingredients were potent and of good quality, because they had a very strong taste and odor to them, which is pretty common with the ingredients in this supplement. I don’t mind strong odors and flavors, for the most part and I know how to use them without too much difficulty!
It’s best to take these capsules with food, preferably before eating, so that they don’t come back to bite you in the form of a very strong odored burp!
I liked taking this supplement, because I feel like I am getting something when the ingredients are potent. I would highly recommend this product!

I read a news articles that Berberine was akin to a “poor man’s ozempic,” and I’ve been taking it ever since. I notice that my cravings are reduced, and I feel that’s due to assistance with blood glucose regulation. Of course, I’m not an expert, that’s just my personal feeling. The cinnamon is an aid in that as well, and I have taken capsulated versions of that, so I’m pleased to have both in one. These capsules are large, but easy to swallow, but bear in mind, you do need 2 of them. I do not notice any taste or after effects. There is no odor from these, which makes them easier for me to take as well. I can’t stand a stinky supplement, lol. I like that these are US made, GF, sugar free, and non-GMO, all of which supports my dietary preferences. I think this is a generously sized bottle, for the cost, and not that it impacts the performance, but it is attractively packaged. The bottle arrived securely packaged, safely seal firmly in place. Overall, I’m super pleased with this, and will continue taking it.

I can’t speak as to the efficacy of these as I’m sure it depends on the individual. What I will say is that there’s a good mix of supplements, they didn’t cause any nausea, stomach upsets, or issues the next day. They also smell beautiful – flowery and fruity.

Berberine, like so many nutritional supplements, is hard to determine whether or not it is safe and effective from this particular supplier. The best we can hope for is that the ingredients are as described in the ads and are not contaminated with extraneous ingredients. I am vegan, so the claim that this product is vegan is a plus in my book. I am mainly interested in the berberine, so the other 3 ingredients are just a bonus for me. I have been supplementing with berberine for about a year now, and honestly don’t know if it is working or not for its intended benefits. The same is true for all the other supplements and vitamins I take daily as well.
The company claims that this product is made in the USA in a GMP facility. That is a good sign but I suspect that the source ingredients are worldwide, probably from China. There is no mention of a COA supporting a third party assessment of the ingredients.
The one thing I did notice with this product was that the capsules were not as bitter as the capsules from other suppliers. This is probably a function of the filling process at the different facilities. Berberine powder has a bitter taste so any that is left on the exterior of the capsule will impart that bitter taste when being consumed.
Price and value wise I would consider this product to be mid priced with the competition and be of average value as well assuming the berberine is similar in competing products. Based on the price I may or may not purchase this product in the future. Berberine is one of the hot supplements right now with lots of choices. And many companies are now formulating products suitable for vegans which expands the market for those of us who are members of the vegan community.
