No returnable. It says 1 tsp. It burnt my throat and made me physically ill. Took hour to get the taste subdued. I don’t like writing negative reviews. But this was a bad experience.

Although the directions say to dilute with juice to be able to drink it because it is strong in flavor, I of course had to taste it plain and straight first. It is an extremely strong flavor almost like a burning sensation in your throat. Kind of chemically – just very strong. I mixed a teaspoon in some electrolyte drink – very fruity flavored electrolyte drink and it was much better. Although it does leave a bitter aftertaste as you drink that drink. The flavor is better, but I would not call it a pleasant drink just because that bitter aftertaste. Because of the bitterness, I think it would be better hidden in an alcoholic drink because then you would just think it’s a bitter that has been added.
But with that being said, liquid supplements are great and highly absorbed by the body quickly. So I really think magnesium is one of those underrated supplements that everyone should take. This is an easy enough way to get that.

So I normally take a mag supplement–very similar to this, that is 1/3 the strength of this one. And yet it works better. Also tastes better. This one has the typical very salty and metallic taste, but when you mix it with 16oz of water it’s mostly gone. But this one tastes so strong it does linger in the water. Which would make it seem like “yes, it’s stronger mg”. And yet it doesn’t make me feel the same way as a much lesser does of my other brand. So either all Mag preparations are not the same quality minerals, or this one is not dossed properly.
I’ve seen this with herbs and other supplements. Some have you taking triple the amount of others to do the same thing. They seem to concentrate and compound them differently so 100mg from one company is not the same as 100mg from another company. What a crock!
So I’m thinking that’s whats going on here?
And for people who say this burns their mouth–YEAH! You are not supposed to take this stuff straight! It’s super concentrated and can damage you. It will even make your skin burn if you leave it on. But when you mix it properly (at least 16oz of water or other beverage) you will barely notice it.

I’ve heard of cheap Magnesium capsules, and figure it can’t get much better than having it in liquid form. And to my surprise, Liquid Magnesium is a thing! I like the concept, the ingredients just says concentrated water from Utah’s Great Salt Lake. I’m not sure it can get any more natural than that!
The taste is 5 stars of not pleasing. I take cap-fulls and put it under my tongue occasionally and drink a sparkling water. It leaves a weird mouth-feel for a little bit afterwards. It’s not too bad though and can definitely be mixed with other drinks to possibly mask it better (also recommended on the label). It never upset my stomach but I just drink a lot more water than usual with it to get rid of the taste.
I feel a little bit more relaxed usually if I take some (1 cap-full sublingual) later in the day, comparable to higher-end Magnesium capsules.

I’ve been using another brand for yrs and the 16oz is now unavailable and they raised the price of the 8oz do I came across this one, haven’t tried it yet but hope it is as good as my other one and I’ll switch.
I have tried a few other Horbaach supplements and they seemed to be good, and the price was fair!!
