I’ve been struggling with histamine issues for a few years and this has helped tremendously. I started with one a day but then realized it’s best to take it with every meal so take it three times a day now.

The capsules are easy to take with a glass of water. I use them in regards to histamine rich food, good job.

I have issues with histamines in things like wine. But, I like to have a glass of wine every now and then. And then, I always regret it. I was hopeful that these might offer some respite. So, it’s hit or miss with wine. Sometimes I am fine, and sometimes I start sneezing, my eyes get watery, nasal passages swell, and it gets hard to breathe through my nose. I can never really pinpoint why sometimes I get a reaction, and sometimes not. It also sometimes happens with some beers, and pre-marinated meats.
Anyhow, took this, had a glass of wine that was in my fridge that previously gave me symptoms, and still had symptoms. Not sure if they were decreased or not. And I’m also not sure if you just need to take this regularly to build it up in your systems. But, probably not for me.

I have quite a number of foods I have sensitivity reactions to. Not full on allergic reaction as that means epi- pen & ambulance, but definitely stomach issues, sometimes hives, &/or itching. So, decided to give these a try. Used them as directed, then drank 8 oz cow’s milk (one of my sensitivities is dairy). I had no stomach cramps or lower intestinal issues. Instead, the milk went down, stayed down, & gave me no issues at all. Super impressed with these pills!! Going to give them a try with some other food issues tomorrow & see how it goes. Sure hope they keep working. Will LOVE being able to handle cheese again — even if its only once in awhile. Plant-based “cheese” is just gross! Tomorrow’s menu — grilled cheese & tomato soup (both issues in the past!) I’ll keep posting as I discover more help or any issues!

These yellow capsules are the standard supplement size, easy to swallow, and have almost no smell or taste. They say these are meant for histamine reactions, and they warn you are not meant for allergic (anaphylaxis) reactions to food. Quercetin, vitamin C, stinging nettle, bromelain, and alpha lipoic acid, are all natural histamine blockers of different types. And the porcine kidney is to give you extra DAO, which is the main enzyme that breaks down histamine in food. The doses of the individual items are quite small relative to what you’d take if you had each component individually, but hopefully by taking all of them together you need less of any one. The instructions say to take them before eating histamine-containing or triggering foods, which makes me think you don’t need to take regularly for them to work. The cost is high so I justify it by thinking it’s not something I need to take every day like vitamins, rather a preventative for when I want to splurge on food. What I wouldn’t do to have a tomato! Or an avocado! If this works as they suggest, it will be SO worth it. Anyway, I’ve decided to start slowly and be very measured about reintroducing histamine foods, so this is only the initial review upon arrival. I’m giving 4 stars to account for the cost and will raise or lower the stars after I get to experiment with them over the holidays. They came with 2.5 yrs left on expiration. They’re GMP manufactured and gluten, dairy, and soy free. But they are not third-party tested.

I have some foods that definitely do not make me feel great afterwards. These seem to reduce that. Enough so that I’ll keep trying after the first couple of test doses.
