I love that this was USA made and no extra fillers just be warned that if you have a bowel movement it can come out a little bit red don’t get freaked out. It’s just from the beats lol. The beet root powder has good consistency, color and flavor. It does clump up which I guess is expected but breaks up fairly well in a shaker with an agitator. My only issue with the product was that the packaging is not adequate. It’s basically a thin plastic bag inside a thinner paper bag. Some of the beet root powder had spilled out of the plastic bag when arrived. I had to transfer everything into a ziplock bag which got messy because the beet root powder is very fine and flew all over the place

After reading all the impressive benefits of beetroot I decIded to try it. I just received my beetroot power. First, the power is so beautifully fine with brilliant color as well as smells great. I tried one tsp in my organic unfiltered apple juice…taste great with not overwhelming beetroot taste. I then added a bit of fresh-squeezed lemon juice to the drink….what an awesome taste, not pungent, bitter or bad tasting. I know the beetroot power would be fantastic ina smoothie I’m impressed with the overall quality of the power. Plus the company is 100% USA. All aspects of the product, grown, processed, etc strictly USA (Oregon), not China. So the product is a win-win. I’m super pleased…can’t wait to order more.

I purchased this item knowing some of the natural benefits of beets and also my lack of eating enough veggies throughout the day. I take this before my workout as a preworkout and have noticed an energy gain without an energy dump after my workouts like super Synthetic pre-workouts. Also, the next day soreness is not as bad. In addition my cholesterol (which mine is genetically high pushing 300) is for once 200 and my blood pressure is 130/68 instead of 184/78. I do take this morning and night. Now for the taste, mix with ice cold water only! This is pure beet flavor and unless you like the flavor of a hot canned beet the use ice cold water is a must! Now it mixes very easily, I don’t use a shaker but I do use a battery operated milk foamer whisk 🤷🏼♂️. All in all after 3 months I’ve noticed some good stuff from using this product.

Being as this stuff is made from ground beets that have been dehydrated, expect some fiber. Since it’s 100% pure, expect some caking. You can store it in an air tight container, add a desiccant packet, and give the container a shake to prevent it. Has helped lower both my diastolic and systolic blood pressure buy almost 10 mm Hg. Using this and dark chocolate have been just as effective as my bp meds. This stuff is also the least expensive beet product out there! Stock up and store it unopened in your freezer to “beet” inflation!

I have been adding it to smoothies and I like it a lot. It’s bright pink and tastes nice (pairs well with cocoa powder.) I do like the taste of beets but I’ve never tried it plain. It acts like a powder, not sure how easy it would be to just mix into a liquid.
One of the reasons I ordered was for the antioxidant content. I haven’t noticed whether there is an energy boost but I don’t have it every day. The pink color is nice and cheery, and overpowers my protein powder and cocoa powder, smoothies/oatmeal is still very pink (not brown.) I like it, and will probably buy it again when I run out.

I have bought beetroot powder before from other companies. I have even bought from this company before and I truly liked their product and why I made a second purchase.. However, this time sadly, the the quality of the powder just wasn’t there. The first time is was a nice smooth powder that mixed well.. this time though it is in rocks! Not only so large they don’t fit through funnel without breaking up that even after breaking and mixing with water and vigorously shaking it you still will end up chewing a beetroot rock in your mouth! Not fun at all.. I never experienced that with other companies nor this one and if this was my first purchase of beetroot I probably wouldn’t again. Luckily I know it’s not normal and love the effect it has on my body and my workouts. Will I buy this again from them? I just don’t know yet… I’m to try to break it up in the bag and see what happens. Hopefully bag doesn’t explode all over kitchen. Lol. Speaking of bags.. they do use a nice environment friendly bag however, to be picky, their old smaller bad was better.. the new bag is taller yet has same small opening in top. To small for a hand to fit in and since it’s now taller a normal Tablespoon measurer won’t reach the product. I have to grab a long spoon to reach it. Kinda annoying as well.
