I lost countless nights, being up and walking. The slightest “wrong” move of my toes/legs would throw me in agonizing leg cramps. I tried everything, from Leg cramp pills (never did a thing for me), to massage, cold water, walking, etc. I even kept a small wood dough rolling pin in my nightstand for midnight intervention, rolling my foot or calves. Every night I’d be terrorized about the pain. Then I tried these (on my Dr. vague recommendation to take magnesium). I found these, read the reviews and decided I had nothing to loose.
I’ve been using these pills for over a year now. I started with 1/day & I noticed big improvement. Then I showed them to my dr. & was told I could go to 2/day, which I did. They do work, at least for me, and I can swear by them. I had other problems (8 months of unidentifiable fever) so for a while I stopped taking any supplements. In a few days the cramps were back with a vengeance, as if to make up for lost time; I went back to my 2/day and I can sleep again. So yes, I am confident these pills are responsible for “curing” my cramps. Is it 100%? No, every once in a blue moon I get one while in bed. (before, even sitting/moving the wrong way or walking was an invitation for cramps). If I feel the muscle contracting I try first to relax it by manipulating it. If that doesn’t work within 2-3min., I just get up & take another pill. Pain gone within minutes. Game changer for me!

I take these after I’ve done heavy exercise as heat and sweat will make you loose electrolytes. If you take them after you work out they help prevent muscle cramps and spasms. I think they do a pretty good job, especially when I’m out hiking, I never have any problems with cramping that night or the morning afterwards.
These have per 2 capsules :
Magnesium (from Magnesium Aspartate) 300mg 75%
Potassium (from Potassium Aspartate) 99mg 3%
Taurine (Free-Form) 100mg
Potassium is the highest level you’ll find in any OTC supplement. I usually take at least 4 after a hard day of working out. You’ll have to get potassium in other food items to get closer to your DV: Potatoes, Orange Juice, Bananas, Tomatoes, and Raisins to name a few.

I was having cramps in the tops of my feet, in my shins, and up the outside of my legs every evening and during my sleep. Some nights I would wake up three or four times and have to soak my feet or legs in warm water for the cramps to subside. After reading the reviews on this product, I decided to try it and it works! I spoke to my doctor and he said it was a good product and okay for me to take. I took one tablet in the morning and one in the evening for a couple of weeks, then cut back to one in the evening. I haven’t had any cramps since I started this product. and can’t recommend it enough.

I don’t know why this brand works so much better than others I have tried but it does. I have made some dietary changes under the recommendations of a doc. Switched to raw milk dairy–milk, butter and yoghurt–and grass fed beef. I eat ground chia seeds in fresh juice made in the juicer and eat raw nuts and lots more vegetables. And I cut way down on my supplements since my diet has improved. But am convinced that magnesium is still one that I need to take. This brand seems to be easy on the stomach and do the trick. Yes less achy in the joints and less nervous when I take this stuff. I think the balance of Magnesium and Potassium is balanced in this formula.
