It’s nice that it’s free from additives and heavy metals, and it’s easy to mix into hot water. The metal spoon they gave is terrible since the hot water heats up the spoon quickly.
However, I didn’t notice a significant difference in energy or wellness after a few weeks of use. It might require more consistent, long-term use for noticeable effects, but the results seem subtle at best. It’s a quality product, but I’m unsure if it meets the high expectations set by the claims.

I have been hearing a lot about the possible benefits of shilajit. I have been interested in trying some out to see how it works for me. I ordered this product to give it a try. The taste is very strong and bitter. To me, it almost has an overly burnt toast taste. It’s definitely not horrible, but not great. That is when you take straight. However, it is recommended to take in dissolved in warm/hot liquid such as tea, coffee, or hot cocoa. When I take it in hot cocoa, I barely taste anything. So, that is a positive. I have not personally noticed any particular benefits as of yet. I am hopeful that over time I will begin to see improvement of things like energy. Other people may see better results so each person needs to see how it works for themselves.

I drink my Sumatran coffee black, and this form just fits right in my morning cup.
This product has its plus and minus. A plus and a minus is the metal spoon – this one is shaped more like a show shovel but my main complaint is it has no backward bend that would allow it to hang on the side of the cup. So, shovel shape okay, no reverse bend on the end to allow it to hang, bad.
Basically, you just scoop up some of that very thick resin and put the shovel/spoon in your cup…the head and the coffee will redistribute the resin. It has an earthy robust flavor that will not appeal to all, but I think would appeal to all coffee drinkers, especially those who take it black.
My other main gripe is the price, it’s more expensive than other brands using the resin form although not as expensive as some others. I deducted a star each for the shovel issue and the price but added a star because shilajit resin really is a fantastic product.
