For the most part, this is a fairly basic offering of a zinc and quercetin supplement. Helpful, but nothing extra special about these. There’s also some sort of a dried fermented yeast called EpiCor of which I know almost nothing about, so can’t speak too much to that aspect. Of course, some would prefer that that’s all that is in their immunity supplement. Personally, I prefer a few extra helpful ingredients.
Maybe it’s the EpiCor that’s been the most helpful for me since it supposedly helps the gut. I had been suffering with a bout of the norovirus, which affects the intestinal system, that’s been going around and it just kept rebounding on me every time that I thought that it went away. Since taking these, it seems to have finally gone away for good, though I’m still knocking on wood saying that yet. So far, so good.
So far, they seem to be okay. Clean enough and made in Livermore, California in the USA. Mine is dated with a best used by date of 1/2026, so they are very fresh.
They should go with a smaller bottle only because the full amount offered only goes up to about where the label says “Healthy Immune Support” which is pretty low on the label. Lots of wasted space that is not needed. You receive 60 capsules which means you get a one month supply at 2 capsules a day.
The gelatin capsules are easy to swallow and I’ve not been able to detect any sort of taste. They do not cause me any sort of irritations or other issues that I’ve been able to detect. They’ve only been helpful.

What I absolutely love about this product is that it’s not your typical Zinc and Querctin bundle. This brand added (Epicor) dried yeast fermentate to the formula. I had never heard of this and did some research.
What I found out, according to the National Library of Medicine’s website, was that in multiple published randomized trials, dried yeast fermentate had been tested and proven to reduce inflammation. It also had significant benefits against cold/flu symptoms and seasonal allergies. *These benefits make this an excellent companion to the Zinc/Quercetin combination.
This product had an outside safety seal, as well as an inside seal which gave me peace of mind that it had not been tampered with.
It has a long expiration date of 01/2026 which is very good, but these will be gone long before then.
This product has excellent labeling with not only ingredient information but also with several ways to reach out to the company should you have any questions.
As far as price, $24.95 is more than most other similar brands, but those did not have Epicor.
Overall, I am very pleased.

These supplements are suitable for vegans; are gluten, soy, and dairy free; are manufactured in the United States, and are third-party tested. After looking at the supplement facts on the bottle, I did a little research. The results I found were interesting. First off, this supplement contains zinc as a zinc mono methionine chelate complex, which should make it more easily absorbable. It also contains quercetin as quercetin dihydrate – the difference, from what I read, is that quercetin is a plant flavonoid whereas quercetin dihydrate is a synthetic chemical compound – and Japanese sophora flower bud extract. Lastly, this supplement contains EpiCor, which is a postbiotic brand and registered trademark of Cargill, Inc. According to Cargill’s website, “EpiCor is a whole food fermentate clinically shown to support immune and gut health. It’s made through a specialized fermentation process that creates a unique fingerprint of metabolites including proteins, peptides, antioxidants, polyphenols, organic acids, nucleotides, polysaccharides (1-3 1-6, beta glucans) and mannans.” The serving size is 2 capsules, so this bottle contains a 30-day supply. I have not had any problems swallowing the capsules, and I have not experienced any side effects from them, but I’m not thrilled that one ingredient is a synthetic chemical compound. As with any supplement, it’s best to consult your health care provider before taking.

As with many of these types of supplements, it’s hard to determine the bioavailability of the nutrients. Most doctors concur that Zinc is vital to a healthy immune system and metabolic function, so I take Zinc daily. This product is comparably priced to similar offerings from other brands. Quercetin allegedly helps inhibit viruses in their early stages, but is counter-indicated for those taking some medications. Not an issue for me, but others on meds should check with their doctor before taking this supplement. I’m a vegan, so I like that these do not contain animal products.
