My husband was given recommendations from a couple of sources that magnesium glycinate was the better magnesium to assist with his medical issues. It was also a plus when trying to sleep through his more painful nights. Nothing made him feel better like this supplement, and without adding in more pharmaceuticals. He said that they were easy to swallow and I like that the capsules are vegetarian…not that we are vegan or anything, but we prefer more natural substances. They don’t use any GMO ingredients, which we also look out for.
Having an ulcer, the benefit of not hurting your stomach was just what my man needed. With a higher dosage, you don’t have to take so much. But we didn’t know what the chelating was about, but it actually helps the mineral to be absorbed better by your body. Usually a “chelating agent” is bound to the mineral, such as an organic substance or at times, an amino acid. It seems to be based on the actual mineral as to what would be best. Either way, it has been a benefit to my man so that he can actually function better, especially at night with his rest and relaxation. We recommend these with full stars, but check it out with your medical professional first. Recommended: 5*****

I take magnesium supplements to help me relax before bedtime. This supplement is in the form of magnesium glycinate, a widely available supplement said to be one of the more easily absorbed forms of magnesium. I’ve also taken magnesium glycinate in the form of liquid drops. I’ve found no difference in effect; both work for me. This supplement provides 200mg per capsule. The liquid drops I’ve used provide 200mg per four drops. The drops are significantly less expensive for the equivalent dose, so the issue is whether you find taking a capsule (or several capsules, depending on the dosage you prefer) instead of drops worth the additional expense. Also, this particular supplement is more costly than some other magnesium glycinate capsules I’ve used. However, the product seems to work well for me, and it is as described.

My doctors really, really want me to take Magnesium. They have recommended it for years and I need to take it to balance out lab work from a long term medical treatment that I am involved in. I have tried at least 20 different formulations of Magnesium, and experienced side-effects from all of them. Most frequently gastric or bowel related problems that are uncomfortable and awful. I was going to give up when these became available to me and I thought I would give them a try. Am I glad that I did. I have taken these successfully for 45 days with no side effects. Whatever the difference is, this supplement works for me. My lab work levels are trending up and I definitely plan on continuing to take this Magnesium going forward.

I really like this Allcoovita Magnesium Glycinate. I have a health condition that can cause me to be low in magnesium and I decided to try this magnesium supplement to help bring my levels back up. I am happy with the results I have had so far. Using this magnesium I have seen a solid increase in my blood magnesium levels. This increase in my magnesium levels has help reduce leg cramping I was experiencing due to have low magnesium levels. As an added bonus, since starting this supplement I have also seen significant improvement in my sleep. This includes both getting to sleep quickly and staying asleep. The bottle comes with 180 capsules which is 90 400 mg doses which is great. I have also felt more energy while using this product, but that may be due to getting more sleep. I highly recommend this magnesium supplement. You won’t regret it.
