Put in water and boil for a while, just like tea. Turns water very, very dark after multiple uses (boiling mushrooms over and over). Actually can chew on these, and I enjoy the woody taste. Careful, though, if you don’t cut it up, you can choke on it, since it is very dry. Adding it to teas or coffee gives drink a nice, umami flavor, without the saltiness. Reminds me of hot chocolate when replacing plain water in coffee. Covered in red mushroom powder, which is why drink looks red in light. Is energizing like coffee is, too.

Drink a quart per day. Two chunks can be used over and over. Bring almost to a boil then back the heat for 20min. Then I cool it down in pot. I let it out on a paper towel to reuse. I like the fresh picked. My sister in law has it at her home. Has a earthy scent and taste. You can drop a tea bag to make it less earthy. It is very high in fiber. It breaks down dead white birch and returns it to the soil. Also if you can real turkey tail mushroom. That is like the home run of antioxidants and much more. Turkey tail is like a leaf but very tough. Cook it with chaga, then eat it. A little bit goes a long way.

Very impressed with the amount of chunks in the bag, With each one I have gotten about 2 gal of mushroom tea, I just kept reusing until the color got dim,Then threw out. I use the tea in my smoothies and also mix half of the tea with my regular tea as it does not affect the taste. I have taken a weeks break from it as it suggest per month. I have also noticed while drinking it I do urinate a lot more if it is a good thing I do not know. Maybe someone could comment on that.

Exactly what you want from chaga, plenty of black top. Best results, chop up in blender or chopper, then simmer in boiling water 15 minutes, deep dark red brew. If you pressure cook it no reason to filter it or chop it. You bring pressure cooker up to rattle and take off heat, pressure itself goes into chaga and brings out best benefits. Once it rattles you simply leave of heat all day and you have a real nice chaga to warm later or add to coffee whatever. The flavor is more like coffee then tea, kinda woody, you can actually add creamer to this and you will think you are drinking coffee.

I have been drinking Chaga Tea before it was popular for over 15 years now.
Now there is allot of fancy information about chaga which I think has gotten out of hand!
Almost to the point that chaga can raise the dead!! Lol. And all the different flavors , and now
Capsules , and tea bags!
I like the chaga chunks cause that is all there use to be, and I know nothing has been ground up
With something else! It’s pure chaga.
This Sayan chaga is from Siberian which the colder the climate the better the Chaga.
This has the black bark on all the chunks which I think makes a stronger healthier chaga tea.
I simmer about 7 or 8 oz. 3, 4 chunks for well over a hour till it’s black. I use a glass tea pot, and put local Honey in, or stevia, or even a green tea bag in my cup to give it more flavor. Also I keep a small live mint bush in the house, and use about 3 -4 small leaves cut up in my chaga tea. I actually like that best with local honey. Mint is healthy.
I use the chaga chunks a few times, so don’t throw them out. I put them in a small bowl , after they cool off, cover, put in the frig after they cool off. Use the left over tea the next day to reheat.
These chunks are smaller then Others I have bought, but get dark very fast when simmering.
I have never noticed ever any flavor to chaga tea no mater who I have bought chaga from.
When I was buying Chaga years ago the only talk was, people that drank at least a cup a day
Never got cancer, and if they had cancer after treatment they all survive.
Thank goodness I cannot attest to that.
But I’m older now and was having a healthy issue now with a swollen ankle after my SUV ran my Slim legs over in my garage over two yrs ago.
Amazing that I didn’t break any bones, as I have osteoporosis, and will not take the meds for it.
But Do take allot of vitamins.
Btw yes a ambulance took me to the hospital , came home in a few hours.
The point is after drinking one cup of this Chaga tea my swollen ankle the other day went down with in 20 mins!
Also this just happened , but the accident was over two yrs ago.
And if I don’t feel great since , I drink a cup or two of this chaga tea, and with in a hour I feel better!
I’m not saying chaga tea is some type of strange healer, but who knows we are all different.
Some say they do not get sick drinking chaga all day instead of coffee, but now I read not to drink it all day, or is that the FDA talking!
That all said , I think this is the best Chaga I have ever bought.
You might find one that has more chaga for the price, but not as good as this one.
I recommend this chaga.

This is the best Chaga chunks I could find period. I have tried Chaga from Canada, Alaska, Maine, and Vermont. That Chaga feels like a cork compared to Siberian Chaga which feels more like a bark of the tree. It also feels like it has more density. When you brew a tea it is darker and tastes slightly different. Most important all chunks come with blacktop crust indeed. Other companies offer 30-40% of chunks with blacktop, or at least that’s what I’ve got. The black crust is the most beneficial part of the Chaga mushroom and I am very happy to get a product that provides the most health benefits. I use these chunks twice, the second time the tea is less dark, but I have my little secret: I put fresh chunk or two when I brew the tea the second time. I don’t recommend brew same Chaga chunks more than two times though.
I like the woodsy taste and quality! If you are looking for the best results stop looking and get Siberian Chaga chunks from this seller! Highly recommended.
