Has everything I expect but then improves absorption with black pepper ext. Theoretically you can stretch it to 120 days of use with one capsule so I can see it far exceeding its overall value. DIM for hormonal balance is and has been in my supplement regimen but because of the quality, it’s a no brainer for me to keep year round.

DIM Complex is a hard thing to explain and they’re just now starting to be studied by the medical/scientific community. That means ‘your mileage may vary’. DIM doesn’t have much in the way of side effects unless you take more than the recommended dosage. Even then, the side effects are more unpleasant (gastro-intestinal distress) than dangerous.
There are a number of potential benefits of DIM that are being researched but the primary reason people take it is as a hormone balancing treatment. You can look online for the other potential benefits of DIM Complex but both me and my wife take them for hormonal balance. There isn’t much supporting research for this, but since the downside risk is minimal we figure ‘why not’. My wife has commented that her skin looks better now than it ever has, but that fact could have multiple causalities.
In terms of this product, I’m impressed by the quality the manufacturer delivers at a reasonable price point. It’s made with natural ingredients–primarily black pepper, broccoli powder and kale powder. You can get DIM from Cruciferous veggies (eg: watercress, mustard greens, bok choy in addition to broccoli and kale) but you’d have to eat a lot to get the concentrated dosage that capsules offer. This supplement is non-GMO, gluten free, free of any number of other problematic additives (eg: artificial colors, artificial flavors, soy, sugar, corn, etc.) and made in the USA. The only other ingredients are rice flour and cellulose for the capsule.
If you think you could benefit from a DIM complex supplement, this is a well made product sold at a reasonable price point. Recommended.

I recently learned that my body is not processing estrogen properly. My naturopath wants me to take DIM. This supplement is a much higher dose than the one she wants me to take, but I decided to try it anyway because it is much cheaper than the one she wants me to take. So far I haven’t noticed any changes, but I will continue to take and hope for the best. If it works; it’s an excellent value.

From what I read, Dim is supposed to help your body increase good estrogen production while suppressing the production of bad estrogen. I’m trying to balance out my hormones and I started taking this at a more sensitive time in my cycle. I immediately noticed improvement of mood and energy. I’m a bit more sensitive and tend to feel shifts from supplements right away. This light not be the same for everyone. I’ve been taking it for a few days. I will update after continued use

Diindolylmethane – DIM is a hormone balancing supplement. This supplement also contains Broccoli powder, Kale powder, Black Pepper extract, rice flour and cellulose (capsule). The directions say to take 1 capsule daily with 8-12 oz of water or as directed by a physician. The company, Vitamatic, is based inthe United States, which is a plus for me. It is Non-GMO and none of the other additives you don’t want. The pills are easy to swallow and have no after taste. I have not experienced any side effects. The price is reasonable. I definately recommend this supplement.

Diindolylmethane is commonly consumed in foods. A typical diet supplies 2-24 mg of diindolylmethane daily. It is possibly safe for most people when taken in doses up to 150 mg daily. The most common side effects include headache, nausea, vomiting, gas, and diarrhea.
Unfortunately, I did experience diarrhea when taking this supplement, and had to discontinue it.
