I looked up the research on krill oil and it has some of the smallest traces of mercury in it because it is at the bottom of the food chain so that is FANTASTIC!
Then, on the description I read that there would be no fish burps and I was sold!
So, upon having my very first pill, I decided as an experiment to chew up the pill to see what it was really like. I did and I am Really Happy to say that it had the mildest krill taste and thst was it! I couldn’t believe it! I just went back to may daily duties without having a drink of water, chaser, or anything. I didn’t need to have anything to mask a taste so that was pretty awesome. I am one of those people that is sensitive to I tend to have issues with stomach upset and such.
The pills are relatively small (see pic) and easy to swallow.

I hadn’t taken any omega vitamins for years and recently I discovered krill so I have been taking it for a while and decided to try Active Lifestyles brand. It checks all the right boxes of GMP production and 3rd party tested, made in the USA. It has 1000 mg of krill oil in two capsules.
Krill has a lot of benefits and some consider it better than fish oil, the body absorbs it well and it is rich in antioxidants. These little crustaceans provide food for whales and dolphins and all kinds of marine life. I have found krill oil to be very beneficial.
This Krill oil comes as a 30 day supply with two capsules a day. I take one because I am a small person. Nice product, I recommend.

I got this to help supplement my health, especially after reading all the health benefits of Omega-3. I like the fact that these are easy to take, with no weird aftertaste like you get with some supplements.

Krill oil capsules – krill oil is a source of omega-3. The contents of these softgels is identical to other krill oil softgels I have used. The smell and taste are also similar. (Someone said if you have problems with the smell, you can store them in the refrigerator to cut down on the smell.)
A daily serving is 2 softgels so this container is 30 days of softgels. Made in the USA. Lot number and Expiration date (in 2027) printed on the bottom of the bottle.

I have been taking Omega-3 supplement for a few years, and this krill oil is hands-down one of the best ones. It is made from wild caught krill, and this guarantees its pureness. It also doesn’t contain any unnecessary fillers. The added astaxanthin is a great bonus for skin and eye health. Highly recommend!

This ACTIVE LIFESTYLE brand Antarctic Krill Oil provides 1,000mg Wild Caught Red Krill Oil per 2 softgel serving. The krill is caught in the Antarctic waters then the oil is extracted and these softgels are made in the USA. Krill Oil can potential cause mild side effects in some people, like upset stomach, decreased appetite, heartburn, diarrhea, nausea, headache etc. But I experienced none of that fortunately. I have been taking fish oil supplements regularly so perhaps my system has become accustomed to oils like this.
It is also worth mentioning that Krill oil can also interact with medications like blood thinners, estrogens, beta-blockers and diuretics so if you are on any of these medications you should perhaps ask your doctor about taking a krill oil supplement. The softgels themselves are flavorless and very easy to swallow. Since I have been taking this product I have not noticed any differences but I know I am providing my body nutrients and oils I normally would not get in my routine diet. Overall I like this supplement and would recommend it.

For me to get a suppliment there are a couple of things I like to see before getting it. Because I’m not a chemist, I have to trust that what I’m buying is what I’m getting. The only way to be assured is if the product has been 3rd party tested and this one is. The other important thing for me is that it is made here in the US. While ingredients of this are sourced worldwide, it is made here in the the US and it is 3rd party tested. The other certifications and qualities are nice to see, but those two sync up with what I need to know to feel comfortable with a product.
The daily dose, according to the packaging is 2 capsules, but I like to ease into any suppliment and start with half and work my way up from there. No side effects, no bad taste, no issues taking these suppliments. Krill oil is a good way to get concentrated omegas, better than regular fish oil suppliments and I am happy with this product.

I’ve been taking Krill oil supplements off and on for a while now. (The oil is derived from a small crustacean similar to shrimp.)
Krill oil is an excellent great source of omega-3s, which are “healthy” polyunsaturated fats that are said to be beneficial to overall cardiovascular health. I like that this formula provides 1000 mg per serving. A big plus for me is that this formula also includes astaxanthin, an antioxidant that helps balance the immune system.
These are easy-to-swallow softgels. I’m glad that they don’t contain any sugar or other additives. They do contain vanillin, which is the primary chemical in vanilla beans. That’s fine by me: It isn’t even noticeable.
Each serving calls for two softgels, so this will last one month, which is acceptable in my view: Recommended.
