Post covid, I started getting more interested in natural remedies and supplements to augment my body’s immune response. This is my first time taking this particular blend of supplement, but I appreciate that it’s all-natural, non-GMO, and sugar free. Sugar is not my friend, though I would love to be friends with sugar. 😉 Anyway, I feel like I have more energy taking this supplement.

I was going to give this 5 stars simply because it has so many great supplements in one capsule. Then I looked up the distributer website. It’s a legitimate website, but very vague with details. Most concerning is that this particular supplement is not listed on the website. Curious if it has been discontinued for some reason. I am not having any adverse reaction so I am going to continue to take and see if there are results after 3 months.

I drink Earl Gray daily for the citrus Bergamot, so I was excited to try it in capsule form. As a bonus, this has turmeric, cinnamon, black chokeberry, garlic, olive leaf, and more wholesome goodness. Best of all, this is lab-tested and GMP-certified. Glad I tried it.

I have studied and researched different natural supplements for over 30 years. I take around 30 different supplements a day because of some health issues caused by my service in the military. I would much rather help my body deal with a cause and not eleviate a symptom. This Bergamot supplement has many ingredients I already take and some I just cannot fit into my daily schedule so if I could take just one pill, it would make my supplement taking task easier. This has Ceylon, which is the safe form of cinnamon – not the Cassia form, which can be toxic and laden with heavy metals. This has several ingredients like chokeberry that really did wonders for my digestive tract years ago so I know it is an awesome ingredient. This uses niacin, which is more effective in working with lowering cholesterol levels, but can cause a person to turn red as a beet, with a hot flash called a flush. Any young woman knows how uncomfortable a hot flash can be. Other brands use nicotinamide or inositol that, although is not as powerful, does not give the flush. The product description page is so blurry, I could not read it until I had the bottle in my hand. The label has extremely tiny font that I had to use my fine work magnifying goggles to barely read. The label has pictures, but I have no clue what they mean. I need to know specific things such as different testing for amounts of each ingredient and testing for contaminants such as heavy metals.
I research the company I am interested in. The product description and the label that cannot be read on the Amazon page because it is blury says to contact peakpury.com for questions to be answered. Unfortunately this website does not exist and Hawthorn Herbal Supplements does not exist that I can tell. If a company cannot be contacted, I cannot trust the supplement. If I cannot see the testing documents, I cannot be assured a supplement is safe. I need to know that this is made in a safe establishment (GMP facility.)
For these issues, I cannot rate this more than two stars. I won’t be taking this supplement.

I try to keep a regular intake of turmeric and its absorption enhancer (black pepper), so a supplement is just the ticket as dietary source is not reliable for me. Being at the end of a previous supplement, it’s good I have a low cost resupply with the added natural compounds.
On unsealing the bottle, I caught a faint berry aroma (which is understandable). I found no unpleasant taste when I took a capsule with water. At a rate of a daily one capsule, this bottle is almost a six month’s supply.
